I love charity shopping! It's good for the charities, the environment and you get a good bargain too! That wool is such a steal and great for weaving projects with the kids at work x my class a dew years ago each wove a blue rectangle and I stitched them together to make a giant river (our topic that term) we also stitched a patchwork of fields and houses so when combined, it became a huge tapestry. That was a really fun collaborative project 😊 Perhaps you could hem an old skirt with the wide ribbon for a Christmas work outfit - a bit cheesy but you know it will make them smile!
A lot of that really wide ribbon is good for making big bows on presents when you have them wrapped in elaborate wrapping paper. I have bought the WOW embossing powder, but didn't know they made glitter. I wish charities were reliable in the US more than they are now. When you donate to a charity, most people in the US don't realize that most of the money goes to other costs than the actual people who need the money or the donation. Thanks for sharing!
Fab haul Amie, I have been going into my local charity shops and unfortunately they seem to have no crafts at all. Fingers crossed I will find some soon. Lol. I'm in the middle of reading a book by Maggie Clarke called Jam Butties and a pan of Scouse I mean how Liverpudlian is that for me!!. It's the 1st time I have picked up a book to read this year. I can't believe people are panic buying with toilet rolls I'm dreading going the shops tomorrow to see what it's like xxx
Great haul from a charity shop. I love looking in charity shops. I went to a Salvation Army sale on Friday - books there were 20p each. I got 19 for me and 2 for my Granddaughter. I have read about 50 books this year.x
