@@AgxntOrange92% of Americans have health insurance. You can even get health insurance from the government and it’s income based. 20% of Americans have Medicaid which is free. Many years ago I was unexpectedly pregnant and had no insurance. I applied and immediately received Medicaid and it covered myself and my baby for two years until my husband got a job with insurance. American healthcare needs improvement. The costs and transparency and regional monopolies are out of control. The worst possible solution would be to hand it all over to the federal government. Please refrain from making ignorant comments. You would not die if you were in America. You’d get health insurance just like everyone else. Canada’s health care is a mess and there’s no choice involved. Canada has a teeny tiny population. The state of California has more people than the entire country of Canada. 😂 Canadians complain about your system and its failures all day. Imagine if your population exploded to 10 times the size. Healthcare in the US is heavily subsidized. It’s a frustrating system to navigate at times, but ultimately there are more choices and higher quality care available. You have comically incorrect assumptions about health care in the US. 😂 In spite of the problems in the US health care system, the fact that it is not completely controlled by the federal government means that solutions are always rising up because people are always working to improve it. We have a long way to go, but so does Canada and the UK. The only countries with decent systems that aren’t bankrupting the country are European countries and fraction of the size of the US with healthy populations and low rates of obesity. Even with your small population, Canada would probably do better if it weren’t completely controlled by the government.

I think that you’re right. Libertarians were originally a protest to the war peace party. What has been formerly called libertarian is more aptly described as Reaganism. The systematic dismantling of any government services that are people oriented are cut and taxes are cut even beyond that which would be commensurate with cuts to people programs and the exponential growth of military spending. That never gets cut in dollar amounts. The effectiveness and the reasoning for ever larger defense budgets is never brought before the American people in a real way. There we are aggressively propagandized that might makes right and that spending makes might. Losing every war would seem to put a dent in that reasoning, but it never does. These are all debatable points and they have kept these two going on the same show for quite a while now. I would be more inclined to believe anything Bobby says if he had any understanding of how money would start to appear in the hands of those who have humankind best interests at heart but it’s all magical thinking for him.
