Thank you for the demo. I bought the 1300 and it was the sideways stitching option that made me choose this particular model. When you demonstrated it, you pivoted the needle and turned the fabric but the point of these particular stitches is that you don’t need to move the fabric at all. If you have to sew name labels or patches on clothes, it so much easier to do this when you don’t have to try and wrestle with a completed garment. Honestly, that option has made my life so much easier!! I also think the automatic needle threader is the best one I’ve ever used. I previously had a Juki FS600.
Yes I agree you don’t need to pivot the fabric. You can make a square by setting stitches to “ up-right-down-left” this creates a box shape very useful for sewing on handles 👍
Thank you very much ,it was very helpful to me !I bought this one recently but couldn't find proper tutorial. I would like some more please ,it was great!
I am from India. I have model 701 brother machine. My machine where it should give different stitches knob inside the machine is broken will I be able to get the part of the machine.

what would cause my thread to be extremely tight when trying to pull it through after threading it..i hate it so much. it also pulls out if the needle when it cuts the thread. paid a ton of money for a machine that frustrates the daylights out of me !
