Charles Barkley goes in on the Bulls fans who booed the memory of Jerry Krause, making his widow cry

That's the narrative the media is pushing to get clicks/views/ratings. It's NOT what happened. The average Chicagoan wouldn't know Krause's widow if they put her on a billboard. The fans booed when Krause and Reinsdorf's photos were shown on the jumbotron. They didn't boo HER. Cameras caught her reaction and now folks think she was being booed. Big Lie.

And I have no problem with thinking differently, either. In fact, I have tremendous respect for anyone who makes the effort to take their mind off auto-pilot and think independently. If you think carefully and are able to justify your views, it doesn't matter how many people agree or disagree with you. Can I ask, though, what your biggest disagreements with Barkley are? My best guess is that you're a conservative who doesn't like his derisive comments about Trump and Bush. Am I right, or completely off the mark? Genuinely curious.

Charles has selective memory. He once spit on a fan and tossed a man through a bar window. He's the last person to discuss good behavior or manners.

@feudiebooty most of us as fans have almost zero association with the GMs. However, if the most popular player on the team, arguably one of the most famous and popular people in the world takes a position on someone, unfortunately the minions will follow. Yes, MJs disdain for Krause and the Last Dance is highly responsible for the reception Krauses wife received. The majority of the people booing were not even old enough to remember that era of Bulls BBall.

Like Chuck said, regardless of your personal feelings toward Jerry, this clearly wasn't the time or place to behave this way and make his family feel like that. @@amac9044 Dude I was not even there to boo. That arena holds up to 23k fans and they expressed how "they" felt with his aging wife in a wheel chair. I will tell you I am sure there are many old widows who husbands disappointed a fanbase, his job, or his peers before leaving earth and would get all kinds of boos if trying to celebrate the deceased.It is what it is. Shame or no shame her hubby was booed and she was there to sit slab n the middle of it and soak it all in until it crushed her into tears in her wheel chair. Chicago Fans are savages.

Chuck didn't say they should be arrested for booing so wtf are you talking about? Isnt Charles also free to speak his opinion on the matter? Free speech doesn't mean you're free from criticism.

He isn’t saying fans don’t have the right to dislike him he is saying he is disappointed in the fans for publicly booing the wife and making her cry on stage. They should have been silent.

The MEDIA panned to her to show her emotional response so they could spin it into the lies being reported. The crowd doesn't know her from a can of paint. The Bulls org knew what the fans reaction would be because they've booed him to his face at Bulls rallies, games and any other place he showed up. The Bulls org should have expected, and better prepared her, for the crowds reaction.

Jordan, Pippin and Rodman don't owe the Bulls spit. They didn't like Krause then or now and there's no need to be phony about that fact. They won 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS for the Bulls and out the team in the map. Their talent built the new stadium the team now plays in....only to be repaid by Krause breaking up the team based on his jealousy of MJ and Phil Jackson. They didn't like Krause then or now.
