Auburn averaged 7 points per game for every game they won that season. That's not a lot of points. And to add insult to injury, most of the games they won they either 1. Trailed for the majority of the game or 2. They never led until they end of the game. Besides, I always consider miracles as effects of mediocre causes that could have been easily avoided or never happened at all. That's why they ought to be lucky to beat us. As a matter of fact, if the College Football Playoffs had began that season, I think both Auburn and Alabama would have been one of the four teams left, along with FSU and Michigan State.
