Barkley & Oakley take their beef to another level... (Threw in some Olajuwon & Ewing plays as well) www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/199701140HOU.html CB: 29p/12r/3a CO: 8p/2r/1a/1s Rockets 106 Knicks 86
A comparison that can only exist due to the fact that they were two tough guys. For the rest Oakley was an excellent defender and an excellent rebounder, but Charles Barkley is one of the greatest of the sport.
@@HeathOverledger I really don't think it's that funny. Would it have been less funny had it been 4 or 5 months instead? The fact that it was 3 months later might be absolutely hilarious to you for some weird reason but it was still a big deal because it was their first time playing each other since their fight in the preseason. By your logic you must think it's absolutely hilarious to say the Pacers and Pistons game on Christmas 2004 was a big deal with it being their first meeting at Malice at the Palace just because it happened too soon for you a little over a month later.
Barkley was nowhere near his peak by this time, but he was still giving people the business. Give his height and height, he is P4P the GREATEST PF ever.
the look on Jeff Van Gundy’s face at 16:27 tells you all you need to know about the outcome of this game Barkley’s post-game comments about steroids 😂😂😂
Charles Barkley was a more talented Draymond Green 😂, if you see all the stuff he was doing and saying. It's just like how Draymond is with less talent.
Chuck carried his team to the Finals and was an MVP. Without Steph Curry, the only notable thing Draymond did was intentionally instigated fight so that he would not be blamed for Warriors' losses (which means the audience would not notice his lack of talent, but that is now called out even by other players)
I dunno HOW❗ that ROCKETS🚀 squad didn't go all the way with: Elie, Buck Williams, Barkley, Olajuwon, Drexler, Threat, Eddie Johnson & Kevin Wills. Man.
