Ah, man, I miss those days. The intensity and REAL physics were every move and action made sense to the eye because people were not flopping on every single touch. Sometimes you just don't know what's real anymore with way the game is being played.
Jesus the intro music came along with the nostalgic 'This, is the NBA on NBC' it gets me every fking time, it really shows the Golden Ages of 1990s in USA: beating Russians in the Cold War, no terrorism, the hayday of NBA featuring MJ the biggest star ever in the sports history along with another one MJ... man that was something I really want to experience in my time travel fantasy
as a laker's fan this blazer team really scared me. They were loaded and just got unlucky, coming up against the Bad Boys, Magic's lakers and then Jordan.
Imagine if this Portland team had 27 year old Arvydas Sabonis on it's roster! That team would have been that much more fun to watch and would maybe have a couple chips!
Born and raised in NYC but I was a Bulls fan because of Michael Jordan from 1992-1997. This was the exact game between the Knicks and the Bulls which converted me to a Knicks fan. I remembered that interview with Patrick Ewing in the end that inspired me to root for the Knicks from here on. I’m from NY so I should be cheering for NY. Thanks for this video.
Sacramento would’ve won the title this year if it weren’t for Webber’s injury. And the year before if it weren’t for the refs and the nba hidden agendas
The Rockets in this 98 Series with Utah came in and decided to play Physical, shoot the 3 ball no matter what, post Olajuwon, post Willis, post Barkley, let Drexler drive and take it to the hole as he was known for. Every game was a different look for Houston as they threw everything at Utah. Bullard, Price, Eddie Johnson were all shooting the 3 ball so well in that Series. Houston after game 3 led the Series 2-1 and in game 4 had a lead on Utah late in the 3rd period when Barkley injured his Shoulder yet again. That moment Barkley getting injured changed the Series, and the game 4 BIG MO, Utah took control from there on sadly.
I love listening to these modern day kids try to discredit MJ on social media saying he never went left or used left lmao. I watched him do it 100 times in the video. 😂
