Maybe it's not. It's just one of those things that just hits you right for whatever reason. I'll see something that'll get me laughing for days and I'll try to explain to someone and they'll just look back at me as though I've spent the last 20 minutes explaining in detail the process of me filing my taxes, including details like how I selected the pen I'd be using. Sometimes that's how humor works. It's not exactly clear what makes things funny and how those things affect the human mind. And honestly, you gotta go with black ink, there's just no substitute. Black click is really the only choice. Who wants to muck about with pen caps? I mean, c'mon. Caps? Really? *smh

I lost it when Murderface said "Why are you yslling at us." Like a little kid he knew exactly what was coming and just how badly he messed up. Priceless. Good work on the writers and voice actors.
He's like a drill sergeant: When he's _mad,_ he yells; as you push him closer and closer to _genuinely furious,_ his voice gets progressively quieter and calmer.
One of the best moments in the show is when the boys stop Charles from being killed and Nathan states "That's our bread and butter you're fucking with." Despite seeing him as a nag and killjoy, they really care about him.
Charles is dad, Nathan is mom, pickles is the slightly responsible oldest sister, Skwisgar is the distant oldest brother, murderface is the middle child, and Toki is the baby brother
I can see that, you could also say Charles is the dad, Nate and Pickles are the 2 responsible older kids ( or Pickles is the mom) Skwisgaar and Murderface are the 2 wild asshole middle children and Toki is the sweet yet chaotic youngest child
another dad moment is in the episode Dethdoubles where Charles says "look I've noticed you guys have been down and pouty lately, and I don't wanna put you guys in harms way anymore"
So many hilarious moments from this show man. When they called Charles when he was in front of the UN like kids. Just so good. This and ATHF should never have been canceled.
