Harry is not a helicopter pilot -- OMG!! He could not pass the training and exams for that. He was a crew member - a gunner specifically. William is the helicopter pilot and this was further demonstrated in his civil role with the Air ambulance services in the United Kingdom.

I'm surprised at you Andrew, As someone who investigates their subjects with integrity, why are you continuing with the narrative that Henry qualified as a pilot. He didn't, and he never flew. Neither did he serve in any significant way. Its all a carefully constructed facade. Commanding officers have spoken out, instructors have spoke out, as have the people who actually served. A terciery search of Henry's academic qualifications shows he didn't have enough ucas points to get into sandhurst. And if you do a timeliness search you'll see he was travelling the world when he was supposedly training. Apache training takes 3.5 years on top of flight training, which is 2 years, and Sandhurst 11 months. Additionally, knowing Henry, if he had a helicopter pilot licence he'd have made sure everyone knew like his uncle Andrew. They can't help posturing.

The announcement for William’s new title was apparently announced months ago. Only the actual ceremony was announced last week because it was to occur this week.

That military title is passed on from POW to POW. Harry also isn't a qualified pilot. It was always going to go to William. I very much doubt Harry was "reduced to tears" over it.

Harry knew when he left the Royal Family that he had to give up all his military connections. There's no way he would have been given the appointment as chief of the Army Air Corps. He is no longer a working Royal and he doesn't even live in the country anymore. If he did cry it was because of his envy of and resentment towards William. I have heard that with Harry no longer having any military connections it has been known for some time that William would be taking over this role from the King. The announcement of the date of the appointment was merely a formality. The timing of the announcement may well have been deliberate, of course.

Harry would never get that type of honour he cant fly he was only allowed to be a gunner. Harry never passed any exams in the army not even Sandhurt or exams for flying that information was dropped by an instructor from Afghanistan he also said Harry only flew into warzone on a friday with camera crew and security had picture took on gun range and they did a practice run on helicopters emergency where they took pictures of harry running jumping into the gunner seat the helicopter didnt take off. He went back to bunker. On sunday he and crew flew out again . But he was classed as hero and got a medal its a joke .the big wigs allowed him to be captain and get paperwork but not permission to fly.😂😂

Victim, victim, victim. 🙄🥴 The position is traditionally owned by King Charles himself when he was Prince of Wales, and one wch he had already announced that he will bestow on William one year ago when he was made Prince of Wales. Harry would NOT have any chance of getting it even if he had not married his shrew. Also, royals typically announce their events to the press a week or so ahead. I think it's a case of "nothing to see here" and regular programming by the royals, but yet again an opportunity for media mention for Harry, the ex-royal, and a clear PR grab.
