In this patch of Southern Maryland along the Potomac River, Angel explores Charles County's deep connection to the water. He kayaks through one of the worlds largest collection of shipwrecks and even has a run-in with the military. Along the way, Angel learns about the passion natives have for protecting and preserving the ample wildlife and natural habitats that live within the Counties borders.
Angel takes on the local cycling club, charter fishing in the mighty Potomac River on the hunt for cat fish and rock fish, kayaking among historic giants in mallows bay, learn what local conversationalists did to help clean the Port Tobacco River, how one empty lot of land turned into a wildlife park for birding and nesting bald eagles, and how the food the crew ate throughout their stay didn't travel more than 20 minutes from where they grew to where they were cooked.
