LONG LIVE CHARLES FAMBROUGH! I had moved to Pennsylvania at the age of 18, all on my own. I didn't know a soul, but I had come friends with Charles whole family. Might I add, he has one amazing family. They brought me into their life and treated me as their own. So along with his beautiful music, is backed up by a beautiful family and fan base. RIP Charles. Gone, and will never be forgotten. Live long, as I play your songs.
The name of the song is Dolores, Carla, Maria. It was written for my mother [Dolores], my twin sister [Carla] and myself. [Maria]. Charles Fambrough is my dad.
Lea says your father made me happy when down, He was and is a genius. Listened to him in my early 20's and still in my late 40's. So lovely. Films wold e so much greater with your dad;s music. Love to you and the love to your fathers gift of love.
Your Dad & I sat down together @ Chris's one night. He gave me some good advice on raising my own girls who were teens then. He's missed...ps,Tell Delores that I asked for her.
This piece Dolores Carla Maria is one of the most beautiful jazz pieces I've ever heard.....the world is a much richer place for the life of this man....
Your picture is small here on you tube but I think you look like your dad. My husband exposed me to your dad's music In the early 90's. He made such beautiful music. A truly phenomenal bassist. We miss him so much. Thank you for posting. Peace and love.🎶🎶🎶
My dad definitely spit me out! LOL. I love hearing all of the incredible stories about how his music has impacted people. It means so much to our family. We adore all of you and all of the memories you guys share.
Maria, Your dad was, as Michael Jackson put it "BAD". He mentioned you a lot in his songs. For the fans like my children that loves this song, check out, "Laura Marie".
Wasn't aware that any sheet music came with the original CD, I don't recall seeing that. Here's something that may be of interest: jazzleadsheets.com/alycia.html
