It's me playing my Yamaha P140 digital piano again, but there's no usual video this time. It was too hot outside to bake myself under the offhand lighting system.
Listen to my rendetion of famous Gounod's Ave Maria. Actually Gounod copied J. S. Bach's prelludium, added text and solo melody. But it's nice and really well-known piece.
Be sure to choose high quality link under video (if available) to hear much better stereo sound. I optimized this video for the best possible sound, picture quality wasn't important.

Possibly one of the best versions of Ave Maria that I have ever heard, I have searched and searched for a comparable and can’t find one that makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and brings out so much emotion as this. I would love it on my downloads

This is one of the main reasons why I love classical music. This music was so largely different from today yet it is the origin of wat music is now. It was just playing the piano their own style of playing and theusic itself had a tone and a message behind each musical piece. Beautiful

Thank you so much for recording this. I first heard this on a small European music box my father and mother played each Christmas. It haunted me always. NIce to know the composer and hear it played so lovingly with expertise.

El Ave María no estaba planeada originalmente para llevar un texto vinculado a la liturgia católica como sucede ahora. Este himno a la virgen pertenecía a una serie de 7 canciones compuestas en alemán por el compositor austriaco Franz Schubert. Fue creada para piano y voz solista y su eje central era la obra literaria “La Dama del Lago” de Walter Scott. En ella, la protagonista Ellen Douglas pide ayuda a la virgen en su situación de necesidad. Años después de su composición un desconocido adaptó la música de la canción de Schubert al himno de alabanza en latín, con lo cual la obra pasó de tener un carácter profano al religioso con el que se le conoce actualmente. Es decir, pasó de ser el canto de ayuda de una joven (como era en la obra de Scott) a un himno con las palabras “Ave María, llena eres de gracia, el señor está contigo”.

For Ave Maria(Caccini) this version can changing to Minor chord and music scale or changing music notes to have different effect in comparison with Major chords of Ave Maria(Bach/Gounod). Surely, It depends on the piano players. An unknown Vietnamese listener.

Interessante que as duas ave Marias são parecidas e diferentes ao mesmo tempo, ouvindo essa de Gounot nos parece mais bela, mas ao ouvir a de Schubert também parece que aquele é mais bela, coisas que só a música clássica pode proporcionar.
