Charles Howard Bury, Tibet and 1921 'Introductory Clip' 

In this talk, Ian Kenneally speaks about Charles Howard Bury and the 1921 reconnaissance mission to Mount Everest. Ian is Historian in Residence with Westmeath County Council and Manager with Pegasus Media, creators of RTÉ Radio One’s The History Show. He is producer of the RTÉ Radio series Fake News and Irish Freedom, among other shows. He is the author of multiple books and was editor of the very popular ‘Revolution Papers’ magazine series. Among his recent projects is an online exhibition - everest1921.com - which charts the 1921 reconnaissance mission to Tibet led by explorer Charles Howard-Bury of Belvedere House.
