I don't really care about the Oscars these days but I hope he gets himself one this year, I thought he was exceptional in May December, more than held his own opposite two of the best actresses in the business. He was a revelation. Definitely wowed me the most of all the Best Supporting Actors in the running this year. Had some great picks here too, I love that he started with Mikey & Nicky.

Memories of Murder is a feature i recently watched and he really captured the essence of it. Sure its about the solving the case but as with any good feature there are so many layers to it. Nice choice. And Charles has a great voice.

After Life is my favorite movie, and I always get so damn excited when someone chooses it. Charles is amazing.

I long for the days when there were those older theaters that showed older films in rep. those were the days! those theaters often showed fun double features. the great theatre 80 on st. marks place in NYC had great double features-ALL ABOUT EVE/SUNSET BOULEVARD, A CLOCKWORK ORANGE/BLUE VELVET, that type of thing-i want a double feature of 3 WOMEN/SAFE. it is the double feature the world needs. Charles Melton would approve this message.

If you would've asked me 8 years ago who the breakout star from Riverdale would be, I'm ashamed to say that Charles is not who I would have chosen. I am so glad that he's having this moment, and I hope he has many, many more.
