You are spot on regarding Perlotte. The flim you showed is against high-level competition. He isn't some scrub playing against inferior competition. I would argue he could be a 5 star. The same can be said about GMac i think his arm strength was questioned. Did they not look at his flim? These recruiting guys are not experts. They are average guys with opinions and agendas. I caution everyone to take their opinions with a grain of salt.

Those are facts! It's ridiculous, but the real dogs come to the real UT and play with chip just like Jamal Lewis who wasn't even the highest RB in his class 😂. Our guys will perform when the lights are the brightest and the accolades will be there for them! GBO!!

I hope the Perlotte drop is because Powers knows something like maybe he is coming to Rocky Top😊. Certainly doesn’t make any sense smh. Perlotte, Smith, Gass, Hayward and Sanders would finish this class out nicely, idc what the rankings say!!

Perlotte looks like he has good instincts, hits hard, and looks extremely athletic. I don't care what Charles Powers says. Jadon is gonna be an impact player

Yeah, Jadon is clearly substandard. #sarcasm That's why he only has offers from 35 schools, including the entire SEC as well as Ohio St, Michigan, and Oregon. He's ranked 15th best LB in GEORGIA. Does Powers KNOW how many quality LB's there ARE in GA?!? On3's Chad Simmons predicted him to our Vols July 7th. We'll take him!!!

I feel like G Mac absolutely got dropped because he didn’t participate in the elite 11 this Summer although Powers tried to say that had nothing to do with it smh. Perlotte idk, just doesn’t make sense to me. I hate to be that kinda guy but it is politics and seems like there is bias against Vols. Idc, still want Perlotte, Hayward and Big Dave oh and Christian Gass as well 😊 ⭐️ beside the names are nice but our coaches already evaluated these kids!

My slit personality is both pissed off about this / doesn't care hehehe. We really need the guys we should get at this point though. Side note: Why does everyone keep blowing it off about the lack of high talent rb's? Don't mean to step on anyone's toes. Love Sampson. Can't wait to see what Lewis can do. But imagine if we had a Gibbs or someone at that level as a feature back. Make it make sense to me Bull lol

I feel you Matt! I can tell you first hand, Justin Baker is under rated! The staff does a really good job of evaluating talent. It also feels like teams have been recruiting against us at that position, but we have to over come that. We'll see what Sims does next season.

It's odd that it's almost the same thing GA insiders are saying. I understand the narrative they want to put out there for a flip from GA. GA has been winning. How much does what's coming out of the GA insiders affect the narrative and affect these kids through ranking. They say winning fixes everything. I just didn't know it also controls the ranking on a kid that still has a nother year if HS football as much as it does. Oh, your 5 star Qb didn't hit the elite 11 circuit? 4 star! Oh, your QB didn't hit up the Manning passing academy? 10 of 16... it's all BS!

You hit the nail on the head Chirstopher. This stuff is run by the top programs in some instances. I think Saban started some of it, and Kirby just tries to copy everything he learned from Saban. It also affects the way officials call a game. There is a lot to overcome, but I believe we can do it this year!

@bluechipbreakdown I hope so....how many quarters of football did we have last year with zero live ball penalties from our opponents? Quite a few as I recall. Your definitely correct about it also affecting how the game is called.

One more thing Dylan Lewis 3 star CB commit , he had better Junior Stats than some of the “TOP” cornerbacks in his class , yet hasn’t had any boost in his ratings , all politics 👎🏾

The real reason they dropped Perlotte is because they know he's getting ready to commit to Tennessee. If he was sticking with Georgia they would have bumped him up

Who is Charles Power? Where did he play and coach. On3 is just all the recruiting guru’s. He doesn’t know shit about judging talent. He gets paid to recruit for a school. I trust Vol Coaches. I am canceling my subscription to Volquest if they don’t dump On3.
