We might convert this dude to a LB. Or play him at edge rusher like Pierce. He's super quick and athletic especially if they get him to drop a little weight he could become a great pass rusher for UT
Just off these few plays, reminds me a little of Omar Norman Lott. Shorter for a DT, 6'2" and a little light in the pants but fast get off, fast hands, good moves already to build on. A great evaluation by Coach G and Coach Banks.

This is one of those chess piece players that Heupel on the down low recognizes and he does it better than anyone else. The only reason I can see for the 3 star ranking are some stance issues that are minor but repetitive. Garner will correct that with him quickly. Once the gets the stances tweaked, this looks like a mid level 4 star, maybe higher. At 265 the man is very fast with a fast grip that's very hard to break free of. He hides between the tackles very well and between them with his speed to get in the backfield. Ignore the 3 star ranking imo. A good blue chips guy. Great breakdown Bull. Still watchin it lol
Thank you for your insight, brother! I do feel like some people are over looking Sneed at WR. He impressed me quite a bit during the Orange and White game. Also, Nimrod is another that’s been impressive. I would love to see how Jordan Ross, Mike Matthews and Peyton Lewis look. Hopefully we get to see them this year. I am interested if you’ve heard anything about Peyton Lewis burning his redshirt? You’re not the only one out there thinking he’ll be number 2 to Sampson!

Bull, I normally agree with you, but having been blessed to see Al Wilson play at UT, he had to be dragged off the field when injured. Wilson was a real Dog, with the heart of a lion.🦁 Pili is a smart player, just not as tough. 🐨
I hear ya, Big Al was a beast for sure! I think Pili is tough even with the injuries. I think he will mean as much to this year's team as Al did to the 98 team if he stays healthy. He's going to make big plays on a championship run wait and see!
He missed 2 of the last 3 seasons due to injury. Gotta see the dude dominate for a season or two before we start comparing him to anyone. Al the man Wilson?
I'm not sold on Pili.... Seems like the best teammate... Film wise he lacks SEC speed.. Worse that Herring... Feel LB will ne a problem... Think Telander will be solid amd will need Carter to live up to the hype as he looked lost amd a little top heavy last year
I don't know if he's Al- level, but he's 5 inches taller and should be designated a team captain like Al. He doesn't miss a beat and I love he joins in on tackles just to MAKE SURE that ball carrier isn't going anywhere. At this point, he's probably another defensive coach for the team! GBO

That's big shoes to fill would love to see a whole season under his belt. Your right this team needs a tone setter that demands attention. Nice guy stuff is cool on interviews but we need some dogs that will go toe to toe with the Georgia's. Great breakdown
