I mean it's standard practice among content creators to not pay eachother as you're creating content with eachother in-order to get paid or one party is at least getting exposure on a bigger platform. The only reasons people get paid to do shows like Jimmy Kimmel, Colbert, etc. is because they are apart of a union. Before the union actors, comedians, etc. didn't get paid to do those interviews. Even now when they go on talk shows like Kimmel...they get paid the bare minimum the union contract allows which is around $600. Not to mention if a journalist contacts you in-order to get your input...you don't get paid at ALL. CW has a money grubbing "hustler" mindset which is always the mindset of grimey dudes that usually get nowhere in life.
