We’re all forgetting she’s so young. It’s not random, at this age people experiment with things they like things they want to do. i make music myself and trust me, it is NOT an easy process. singing needs lots and lots of practice. and producing a song, even with help isnt a walk in the park like some people think. i dont see any problem with someone trying to go for it
For the charli damelio thing, when I wrote my first song I was trying to replicate other artist so if this is her first that totally makes sense! You slowly start to build your own character after your first few songs so this is normal!

I know that if you want to try something you should go for it... but she didn't show any interest before her sister got big... I even remember her saying that dance was for her and singing was her sister's thing. If I were her sister I would be mad too, If I loved something and felt that it made me an individual and my sister who was famous for dancing wanted to do it, it would be heartbreaking. Charli showed no interest and I kinda feel like she would always be compared to her sister throughout their whole careers.. imagine releasing an album and then your sister starts doing music too. Im here for it , I like her voice in my opinion . She is going to need work of course but I think she has potential. Not to mention, all she said was she is experimenting with music to see if it can be a passion or into something serious. Charli can make music and sing if she wants too. I just think people will go after charli just because she is who she is and unfortunately in todays world people will criticize from the littlest thing to ANYTHING. Hopefully Charli should continue to explore singing I think her song is really good and I think her voice has major potential. That’s my option.
Charli she isn’t a terrible singer her technique is acceptable and she has a sweet tone. She just needs to relax and be more confident. It seems like she is quite tensed up. Her jaw was tensed which caused her to strain a little bit and she just needs to fix her pitching.
I'm split on Charli doing music. The clip of her singing with the coach doesn't sound bad, like vocally she has potential and if that's a song she wrote (Idk if it is or not) it's lyrically decent. With training she could sound good. There's many reasons I'm questioning this though. First of all, Dixie and Charli both making music is kind of overwhelming. I'm concerned ppl will compare them and/or say one is better than the other. The other concern is that she really is only doing it for money. I mean, I get it wants to be a performer but you can be a performer without singing, be a backup dancer for a singer. Charli has never had an interest in making music, it's become an obsession as of late, all the other TikTokkers who starting singing actually had been passionate about doing so since they were kids. In interviews, Jxdn, Nessa, Sevryn, Tayler, Bella, Dixie and even Madi Monroe and James Charles, have all been interested in music since childhood and thus it makes since that they used their platform to become musicians. They have an ear for music, most of them actually know how to write a song and want to be know genuinely for their music because it's a passion. ppl like Charli and Addison don't seem like they actually want to do music for the love of it, just the money. I mean, props to Charli, putting music out takes a lot of self-courage and faith and she sounds decent. I would just advise that Charli do a totally different sound than Dixie so that it's harder to compare them, they sound different and can create different fanbases. Charli doesn't sound bad, and sounds vocally different from Dixie which is good. Also if ppl are going to say "charli copied Olivia" than why aren't ppl saying Olivia copied Taylor Swift. Hello, multiple artists can have the same sound people. If she truly wants to do music, I say go for it
