The thing about this dance is it can represent any personal demons that someone struggles with. It doesn't have to be just if you have anxiety. Have you struggled in an abusive relationship? You can see yourself in this dance. I myself struggled with addiction since I was 5 years old, and this showed just how it felt. Especially the part where Charli was trying to crawl away and Mark pulled her back. That's exactly what addiction is like.

Mark deserves an Emmy for his choreography.. Several from this season!! Definitely one of the best!!! Thank you Mark for your hard work and dedication!!!

This dance was so far my favorite, they really made it amazing

this one made me cry. the choreography, the costumes, and the song choice were just perfect. and these dancers executed it perfectly. they told a story. i don't know what everyone else interpreted it as, but it called me back to a year in college when i was so insecure and wanted to feel accepted and have friends so badly that i would party every weekend, but i never felt that acceptance, i just felt more and more insecure. and one day i got hurt. but today im fully emotionally healed from my college trauma and i deter my demons everyday like Charli did at the very end. loved this so much.

Echoing what others have said, Mark is an amazing choreographer and Charli is making his art into perfection!

From the first time I saw this performed to each time I've replayed it, I keep breaking into tears. This depiction is so accurate and beautiful. Such a powerful dance and my favorite one thus far. If no one was a fan before, they surely are now.

I love this kid! So honest and authentic, beautiful, talented dancer...she touches my heart. Anxiety is a killer, she is such a great role model for so many that suffer. I get you baby ❤️

there is such an amazing story in this dance because it shows whatever the viewer has dealt with. any trauma can relate to this, addiction, anxiety, depression, abuse, assault, schizophrenia, if you see it as that, it’s what it means to you and you don’t get that in a lot of choreographies. 10/10

This dance had me in tears!! I’m only 14 and I’ve been struggling with anxiety for 7 years now and dance perfectly shows what it’s like to deal with it!! The choreography is so innovative as well! This dance is so pure and raw which is something I love about it!!! It deserved a perfect score!!!

this is the dance where I first thought to myself "she could win this." And every week after this one, she just proved over and over again what an amazing incredible DANCER she is. absolutely breathtaking and extremely powerful.

This performance keeps making me tear up. It's so meaningful. I feel like she expresses herself through dance so well. It truly speaks to us. I am in awe of her talent and her passion. I'm so so glad she found it again being on DWTS.

I don’t follow Charli, so from the perspective of someone in their late 20s, I honestly thought she was just another teenager with an over the top claim to fame without any worries in life. I was not expecting to hear her say that she suffers from anxiety like I do. It really makes you take a step back and remember that she’s human too. She’s still learning how to live her life and I’m sure it can be super overwhelming when you’re young. It takes a lot of strength, courage, and trust in yourself to fight against your inner demons. I hope she continues to take care of herself and stay grounded. Seems like she’s a good role model for others. I’m also SO glad Mark is back this season. He’s incredibly talented and his choreography is some of the best I’ve ever seen. This was a spectacular dance from these two!

I just saw this and I got goosebumps I can relate to this as I suffer with depression since I was 13 and I'm now 34 and still suffer with it. It's very hard to live with and it feels like this black cloud over me. Thank you both for doing this dance it means a lot to people who can understand what depression and anxiety feel like. X

couldn’t tell you how many times i have watched this. it’s such an amazing story that needs to be told. i always love seeing what mark is going to put together and this was just absolutely soul touching. i love watching you two together every week!!

This is such an incredible dance. Charli did a great job at portraying the story and it brought tears to my eyes. As a dancer who also struggles with anxiety it is really great to hear someone who seems to “have it all” open up and remind people that everyone struggles. It makes me feel less alone.

Tbh I was never a fan of Charli but seeing how talented she is has made me respect her as a dancer/performer now. I battle with depression severe anxiety and panic attack disorder as well as graphobia and I'm here to say that this definitely showed exactly how I feel 😔on a daily basis and it's very hard, but on a positive note I'm still here, I'm still trying, and I'm never going to give up! The love hate relationship to the anxiety and everything else and the facial expressions to the trying to break away but can’t quite to do. I’m in LITERAL TEARS.
