This entire family needs to be charged. The fact that Wendi had not been charged is beyond me. The family needs COMPLETE justice, and that is only possible if Wendi Is behind bars as well.

I guess if my son was innocent and in jail. My concern would not be my future, but I would encourage him to stay strong, we will appeal this because you are innocent! I don't hear that at all. Murdering your ex son in law/ brother in law and the the father of your grandchildren/ nephews - that just wouldn't be an option EVER! And if they were really blackmailed, you would have wanted to find the killer so you would have done anything you could to help the police. I just don't understand this mixed up thinking.

She says the jury didn't deliberate. They just went in the room and filled out the paperwork. Someone should tell her that deliberations only happen when someone is unsure of the verdict. Sounds like the jury heard the evidence and felt he was guilty. No deliberation was needed. The whole family should be in jail.

When I was last on a jury, as soon as we were seated in the jury room we took a poll and had 10 guilty and 2 not guilties. The foreman asked that each of us defend our vote and before we’d finished, everyone was ready to convict. We called the clerk of the court, she escorted us back to the courtroom and the guy was found guilty. It took less than an hour. It’s pretty clear the jury in Charlie’s case took that first vote and everyone was in agreement. No deliberations were needed.

There’s NO WAY that Donna, Charlie or anybody would’ve killed Dan without her OK and approval. Just because she’s a lawyer doesn’t make her an innocent person. She’s in there as much as her Mother, Brother and Katie, as far as murder goes.

@2FLIPS3TWISTS003I for one have been hoping and praying that Charlie flips on his sister. I honestly feel badly for charlie. I know that few people agree with me, and I don't think he is innocent obviously. However, I think a combination of anabolic steroids, feeling like he has to protect his manipulative and conniving sister that portrays herself as a victim, and trying to Curry favor with his mother who always favored Wendy but spoke to Charlie every single day and knew that his mother brought Wendy was the favorite was what led him to step in to be the family hero. I think he thought that his mother would see him in a more favorable light. Without Donna and wendy, Charlie would have never done this let's be honest he would not give an F. I hope he flips and gets out in 19 or 20 years. I think it's a crime if he does life without parole for his sister. She knew exactly what was happening and she did not stop it. They were excellent in how they insulated her from their plot because they knew that she would be the first person to be investigated. But if it were not for her desperate desire to "free" herself from Dan, none of this would have happened

Dan parents went to get a bill passed for grandparents to have rights to see their grandchildren. Wendi kept trying to convince people watching "we got along, they could come see them anytime, there is no problem" BUT she then slipped and said "thats unconstitutional". So, she is obviously aware that there IS a problem. She is next. I think they are going to leverage a deal, with Wendi, to keep the mother out of prison. I hope Dan's parents are still alive for the completion of justice for their son.

I really don't think Wendi will get a deal to keep her out of prison to raise her kids.. And if you think carefully, Wendi always let her mother and others look after her children for years so that she could do whatever she wanted, so she never really raised them herself, because she found that too difficult! So those boys don't miss her as much as you now think! When they are placed with a warm family, they finally get some real love in their lives that will be much better for them for the longtime!

I imagine it would be as if feeling virtually buried alive.. I've read from some previously incarcerated that unless able to go outdoors to a yard for an hour they have no idea even if it's night or day as most jails and prisons, by design, have no windows.. they say the sights, sounds and most of all, the smells are unimaginable & never leave you😔

She must have gone into so much detail in her own mind and musings about the ability to commit the perfect crime. She would get rid of her husband and her overbearing family all in one swoop.

I really believe the book was what started her off thinking she could mastermind this. Writing the plot for that book got her in the right frame of mind to plot Dan’s death.

@@RestorativeRenaissance I think the book says a lot about her mindset and ego, not sure it was the beginnings of the hitman option. IMO, the HM option began with The October filing which led to Dan's claims of her "unclean hands", which would end all her professional dreams as professed in her book. From her police interview, it becomes abundantly clear, professional status is of the upmost importance to her.

If, Wendy doesn’t go down for her part, in the murder of her children’s father, then justice just isn’t served. She’s a master manipulator and possibly will, get away with it. I think, Wendy is very confident that only her mother and brother will take the brunt of this crime essentially, they were the ones directly involved in planning and paying for Dans murder through Charlie’s ex-girlfriend. But, Wendy gained the most from her ex husbands death and it would be a crime if she too, didn’t go to jail.

Even though the verdict should have shaken Charlie out of his state of denial, he still believes he'll win on appeal. It'll never happen. The case was too clean.
