I watched a lot of the testimony today and it was cringey. He made no sense at all. Justice for DanMarkel!

The wild thing is I think the Adelson’s don’t know how sick they all are. The Adelson Institute has a whole new meaning. The son that seemed to have gotten out did against all odds apparently. If Wendi managed to stay in the same town as the children and away from the family she would have been better off . Praying every last one of them gets prosecuted.

The Court gallery was practically empty by the end of Charlie's testimony today. Not many could sit through an entire day of his complete and utter lies ... he's burying himself.

I’m not watching Charlie testify until the prosecutor cross-exams. I can’t stomach the lies.

I am both disgusted and embarrassed for CA's attorney. This defense is so ridiculous, and hurtful to the Markels, who have already suffered so much. I am praying for a conviction, or, if jury is hung, a retrial. The Adelson family should have no peace, in this life, or the next. And don't forget, he's being paid a bundle, for this show. He's not court appointed, like most people are forced to settle for.

What a poor judgement Dan Markel had to pick Wendi Adelson as his future wife.

The fact that he has this word-for-word memory of what was said and done 10 years ago...just no. The fact that they offered Dan 1 million to allow relocation, shows the lengths they were prepared to go to to achieve this goal. The fact that neither Charlie nor his mother would speak freely on the phone about these issues, shows their guilt. The fact that they didn't immediately go to the police and reported the murder and extortion...just no. The fact that the blackmailer agreed to a measly payment plan, knowing about all their money...just no. The fact that the killers drove all the way to Tallahassee to kill someone to extort Charlie...for what? If they wanted money, they could have just threatened him outright. No need to kill anyone to achieve that goal.

Any reasonable person can figure this out easily. Just listen to the smug coded conversations between all parties. Not really that smart actually.

I believe that the monies stopped flowing to Katherine’s family whilst she and her ex are in prison, hence she has told the truth about Charlie and his Mum. I am sure she realised now that he sought her out for the murder for hire and wasn’t interested in her at all. At least she has the rest of her life in jail to ponder on this.

Listening him tell his bs story about Katy sitting him down to tell him her ex and his friend murdered Dan gives me such second hand embarrassment.

I think most left after lunch..because the BS meter was in overdrive & they just couldn't take the hours and hours of lies..esp poor Ruth(Dans Mom) who got up and walked out..and many followed in the following hour...i had to walk away from my computer...Charlie is a conman lier.

Wouldn’t it be easier for the hitman simply threaten to kill Charlie and his family if Charlie doesn’t pay their money versus them spending months planning and and carrying out the killing a person they don’t even know in another part of the state, while riskking getting caught and further telling Charlie they did it and risking him turning them in and going to prison. It’s just laughable this whatever happen.

This is karmic on so many levels. I will list 2 number 1s. 1) Dan loved the law, and now the law is "loving" him back. It seems as if Dan is guiding the prosecution throughout the investigations, trials etc. 1) The kids are now of age to understand that these monsters killed their father and have been brainwashing them all these years. It's karmic, because of the timing of Charlie conviction and Donna's arrest. If the kids were younger, they may have believed all the brainwashing. 2) Donna, Charlie, Wendi who killed Dan to get away from Tallahassee, are all now going back to the same place, but now as murderers and in total disgrace. 3) It's karmic, because all the money is now going towards legal fees and Charlie to get protection in prison. 4) It's karmic that these monsters are brainwashing themselves with their own narcissism and don't seem to understand that "normal" people exist, who have common sense, like the jurors who used logic, common sense and the evidence to convict Charlie. It's karmic that the only juror who "might" have caused a mistrial was not chosen to deliberate the verdict. Even after the verdict, this juror still tried to get a mistrial. 5) It's karmic because after all these monters did, murdering Dan, changing the kids name, brainwashing the kids etc, these kids will now end up being with the Markels and will know the truth. 6) It's karmic for the other son Robert, who moved away with his wife, because now that we know how evil these people are, who knows what they might have done to his wife. 7) It will be karmic when Wendi, one way or another will be charged for the murder of Dan. Whether it's for the murder or wrongful death, she will end up in court.

I wonder who came up with the extortion idea. Charlie or his attorney?

Extortion was every other word in this badly rehearsed performance. If that is the case they have for real , truthfully then the word extortion does not need emphasizing. They put so much weight on extortion, extortion is all they had. So they kept repeating the word as they had nothing else.

With no more specific information on his address, where he worked, timing or anything? Then, why was it 1/3 of $1 million? I mean, he was such a good father that she had their children's names legally changed after his death.
