How sad that once Wendy changed their name to Adelson, she branded them with the name of family killers. These poor children.They did nothing to deserve such a fate. My heart goes out to them.
Yup. Charlie would never know Dan’s travel schedule or his gym routine. Only someone who has shared custody of children or some other intimate involvement with his day-to-day schedule would be able to tip those bumbling drunk hitmen off to where he’d be at 10:30am on a random weekday.
You're absolutely correct! Wendi had the power to stop the tragedy and not only did nothing but plotted to execute the plan and kill the father of her young kids. Just despicable!

There is NO justice until Dan's evil witch of a wife, or ex-wife, whatever Wendi is, is arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law! I am just watching for the first time and it almost hurts how right you are.. Insulting the intelligence of the jury like that should be a crime on it's own.. Yes I know someone got killed that is not funny. But this: "The jury didn't believe his story." Made me laugh so hard.. I CAN'T imagine why.. It really is a good thing that many criminals are so stupid.. that really hurts in my brain and I am for sure not the brightest bulb.

So true. Carl is really invested in justice for Dan. Despite Tim Jansen's disparaging remarks about him, Carl has maintained his professionalism and quest for Dan. I speculate that a condition of Carl appearing on this show was that it couldn't be at the same time as Tim Jansen.

Now the only thing money can make better for them is being able to buy some treats from the prison commissary or canteen as a temporary respite from the disgusting prison food and to bribe other inmates to possibly help them be safer.. The hundreds of thousands, possibly millions spent on attorney's fees so far hasn't done a thing to make everything better - that's for sure. Freedom is the true wealth.
And don’t forget Magbanua who agreed to set the murder up for the Adelsons for some breast implants and money. She could have reported this to the police and worn a wire when Charlie first began talking about it… she could have stopped the whole thing and Dan would still be here to see his sons grow up.

Also Dan himself would have had a heads up that the Adelsons were out to kill him. I’ve never seen such an evil family but I still say that Magbanua is right where she belongs. Everyone involved in this murder is absolutely wicked with the possible exception of Luis Rivera.
@@leeprimeau7912 Charlie wasn't in prison back then (2014 when he asked Catherine if she knew of someone to rough up Dan) If she had said "No", he would've dropped her and hooked up with someone else. She was only in Charlie's life because he needed her...temporarily.

Wendy driving up to Dan''s neighborhood just a block away from the murder house surrounded by cops. She just "happened" to be there, just happened to be driving by just as the police were finding Dan's body...but she didn't rush in to find out what was going on? No, because she knew what had happened. She was just checking to see that, indeed, there had been a "crime" on Dan's block. What a coincidence!
The detectives got the arrest warrant that morning,they knew she had booked flights online and the time of the flight 8pm ,they were monitoring her..It was left until he last minute for a reason,to prove they had checked bags in,gone through security checks,boarding passes ect..it's proof they were getting on that flight,intent to flee,that's the evidence they needed.

Yes- I think Charlie felt he needed to bolster and win his awful mother's love by showing what a "badass" he was to put together this murder. He was in an even better position to cut ties with them than his brother Robert who had the good sense and courage to do it. Notice in the arrest video for Donna, she never says “ what are you doing? Why are you arresting me? Same for Harvey. What is going on here? Why are you putting my wife under arrest?. that’s what an innocent person would say. But instead, Donna goes “ here we go again”
These two young boys deserve to learn the absolute truth about their dad and what the Adelson family did to him. As tough as it may be they’re going to find out one way or another (if they don’t already know)! Their mother also needs to be held accountable for their dad’s death!
You're probably right, the best thing she can do right now is to keep her mouth shut - although that may be too late because she';s already said (and written) far too much. The prosecution will still be able to get her emails into evidence through Wendy (the recipient) and her damning phone and text statements in through the law enforcement officials who conducted the wiretaps and forensic examination of her cell phone.
Oooh, I bet she will. I bet she will think it’s her best chance to win over the jury. I don’t think she has the temperament to stay quiet. And I don’t think her lawyer will be skilled enough to advise her to stay quiet. She, or someone, has to explain why she said the bump had to do with her and Charlie and why she paid Katie. And I would think they’d try to explain away the crazy emails.
@@Realitycheck98765 I think you're right. I mean what else can she say? Although the jury may not believe her, she has a more plausible story than the one Charlie gave. Charlie needed (and failed) to convince the jury that he was actually being extorted by Dan's murderers (Garcia and Rivera) and that he was making installment payments to them through Magbanua in order to avoid being killed. Whereas Donna does not need to prove that that's what actually happened, but only that Charlie told her that's what happened and she (as you said) believed him. And so she will say that the checks she wrote from the Adelson Institute each month to Magbanua were extortion payments on behalf of Charlie to (again as you said) protect her son. After all, what mother wouldn't do almost anything to protect her kid, even if she wasn't altogether sure he was telling the truth? She may get at least some jurors to relate to that and believe her, or at least not be 100% convinced she's lying. But a very big part of it is how she comes across at trial, and particularly on the stand - how the jurors perceive and feel about her. Judging from her last couple of appearances at hearings, It seems the defense has been trying to tone down her persona and to rebrand and sell a more elderly, grandmotherly and reserved image. However, those hateful and spiteful emails to Wendi about Dan and the tactics she recommended be used to get him to agree to relocation are the elephant in the room - and a very ugly one at that. She emphasized to Wendi that relocation was EVERYTHING, and not only did the court deny relocation, but Dan had a well-grounded motion pending to restrict her visits with the kids to supervised visits. I'm sure she was infuriated by how things were going...
Wendi didn't throw her family under the bus in the police station, she threw her brother under the bus when she told Jeff and the tv guy the "joke" about her brother hiring a hitman. All planned and i have a strong feeling that the state know this and are planning to counter Wendi's defence that they did this behind her back.

Donna’s e-mails alone are enough to show how unbelievably evil and wicked she is. True justice for Dan Markel would be for Donna, Wendi, and Harvey to join the other lifers behind bars. Charlie stated HE CALLED Wendi on the 18th, Wendi stated SHE CALLED Charlie on the 18th. HMMMM?? Direct exam with Rashbaum, day 6, part 2, @42 minutes, Charlie states HE called Wendi from his car on his way to work etc. At charlie's trial when asked by Ms. Capleman if she spoke with Charlie on the day of Dan Markel's murder Wendi stated SHE called her brother to ask if she should get the TV repaired or buy a new TV (1:26:27).

Wendi shared that info about Charli with investigators when they questioned her because she wanted to appear forthcoming. Like “my brother DID say these things about Dan, but I’m confident he wasn’t involved so I’ll be open and tell you all this because even though he said those things, I know he’s not guilty”. She was being passively manipulative and wanted them to gleen from her statements that “oh, ok well if Wendi thought Charli was involved, she NEVER would have told us that he said that because it makes him look suspicious. She must really be confident that he’s not involved.” 100% Manipulation by Wendi.
It is time to get Wendi arrested, prosecuted and put in prison. Wendi was the true mastermind. Charlie was her fool. I wonder if Wendi is still Donna’s little Princess? I’m thinking not.
I'm thinking you're right. She won't even give Donna and Harvey the time of day, and Donna vented to Wendi in emails about her not even asking about how her brother was, even though Charlie always asked Donna how Wendi was holding up. I'm sure Charlie and Donna have had a lot of time to wonder why they ever tried to help her, and that they are kicking themselves for their exceedingly stupid actions on what they believed was her behalf.
