Why am I not surprised that Charlie and crew managed to kill and scare off both useful nigh-unkillable NPC's in record time?

I love how the second Virginia showed up, they immediately surrounded her and then some of them chased her off while one attempted to kill her. These guys are the real villains, not the natives lmao. Also, somehow Kelvin died super early lol.

As someone with over 300 hours in The Forest, it really warms my heart to see Sons of the Forest getting the attention it is, so happy for these guys.

Random Tips: 1. You can throw logs into the log storage and they will automatically deposit 2. You can re-cook burnt food and it will become cooked food 3. You can use the same log infinitely when building *shelves*. Definitely a glitch but you can use them as fences. 4. You can re-open any suitcases when re-loading in. 5. There's not much reason to rush building a base right away since story items are all over the place and you can save/sleep with a tarp + stick anywhere, anytime.

About 20m in, and charlie has already stepped in the fire he had Kelvin build, and he's still only carrying 1 log at a time. Gonna be a good video😂

I love how Charlie is like "Which one of you placed a trap here, a random campfire where I instructed the AI 3s ago to build. But who trapped this spot?" Haha

While watching people play this game I totally forgot it's only in Early Access. Some modern games on release are less finished.

This comment will be too long... The first time I played The Forest was one of the most intense gaming experiences I've ever had... So I stayed relatively close to the plane and since it was my first playthrough I didn't know much about the game and didn't get anything done the first couple of days... Once I was taken to the cave and woke up for the first time I decided to not climb the rope out but venture further into the cave. As I went further into the darkness I started seeing more creepy stuff around me and started hearing babies crying. I was literally so scared lol and just kept going deeper and eventually encountered the "mother" creature. I think the combination of my inexperience/lack of supplies or light / and seeing a horrifying creature in the dark/the audio design made for the scariest thing I've ever seen in a video game. Luckily, the creature glitched and got stuck on a rock so I was able to walk past it but that made it even worse because once I hit the end of the cave I was forced to turn around and when I got back to that room the monster was gone and that made the trek back to the rope that led out even more terrifying. Once I climbed the rope and got out it was just a quiet nice day outside but I was straight up sweating from the experience I just had. Lol. Gaming.

I tried watching this. But 15 mins on a beach, not exploring, then a night of darkness, not building a torch. I gave up. One player kept saying " let's go explore" but is ignored, one point he even says "this is boring " the 30 mins I watched, no one worked together, everyone doing their own thing. No one worked working together and answered important questions about crafting. One guy kept saying he found a cave multiple times and was ignored. GO TO THE DANG CAVE. Also, AI is there to assist you. Freaking USE him, but instead, you guys all chose to play as single players instead of working together

The best place to build a base is near the cave near the mountain that isn't in the snow section near the middle of the map. Optimized routes. The Asmondgold and Snow spawns are ideal.

I love how they did the exact thing that humans have done since before we were officially human... sharpen a stick and run together to stab things with sticks lol. It goes to show that that tactic is still absolutely valid.

Is Charlie completely blind? This is the most frustrating playthrough I've ever seen. Just stands around and complains about being hungry rather than doing something about it in a survival game. Misses loot drops because attention of a 5 year old. Sprints around and doesn't stop for a second to take in what's around, No interest in exploring and just whines. It's embarrassing how much handholding is needed here.
