This, the scene where Jake is on a date with Celeste and they have a similar pow wow, and Charlie’s support group are some of the best scenes of the whole show!
WTF is up with the looks Alan keeps giving Charlie when he makes "fire" jokes? I thought Alan said "Gotta keep a sense of humor in times like this?" What a smug SOB.
😹 funny as this show was, Charlie was a very lonely man to the core. I actually find this scene more relatable after my own divorce. I dont drink or go to pubs (nor Gay!) but I frequently find myself come across strange men and ended up watching movie, tasting ice cream, hiking or sharing a ride in middle of a national park in pitch dark, sharing stories and pain. Perhaps we recognize each others suffering more. It made me realize that even in i ever go back in a fullfilling satisfying relationship, or have goid friends, i still don't want to lose this lonely part of me and do somethings alone. Never know who you meet and never know who needs you just to talk and just need someone to share a moment with. I think we all men should do that for the sake of brotherhood. ✌😻
My marriage isn't over. Dude you've talking the garbage out for 2 and a half hours. I said it wasn't over, I didn't say it was good. 2 years later it was over.
Chris doesn’t look like he got hair plugs. In the previous episode, Eldridge: Your dad’s gonna smoke a dead guy’s pipe. Jake: Yeah, well at least he didn’t get hair plugs and run off with my babysitter like your dad.
1:30 - 1:51 "But please, call me Bender. On a side note, does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?" "I think you're confusing me with my brother."
charlie, instead of finding movies that involve fire, find something else to watch. How about, women who are too good for their man, on the next Muary show? Or maybe "i reached my breaking point, I'm breaking with you" on the next Oprah? Or charlie can play his piano. Charlie(singing) they're saying breaking up is hard to do!! lmao
