There is a lot of curiosity about Charlie Hunter's monochromatic painting technique. He will be doing an online demo painting on August 8 for the Penn Studio School of Art. It will be a full painting, from start to finish, extensively utilizing the squeegee as a mark-making tool. Here is a quick in-studio preview of some of Charlie's techniques.

Great demo. Are you using oil paints? Will this work with acrylic? Would it give the same effect that you’re getting? Thanks.

You certainly can get interesting marks with a squeegee and acrylics; I’m just not conversant enough with the ins and outs of acrylics to say whether the particular techniques I use would translate precisely without modification.
