My brother came out as transgender. My response was "I love you and the most loving thing I can do is tell the truth. I cannot lie and call you a woman. If you want to continue a relationship wherein I still call you 'brother' and not 'sister,' then I'm fine with that." He wanted to cut off communication after that. But I rest easily knowing I told the truth and didn't bend it so he'd feel comfortable. Now, when he realizes the mistake he made and wants to go back to being a man, he knows a safe and honest person to turn to.

I don't disagree that women are more agreeable. I think it's not necessarily so much natural as it's cultural. I have many strong opinions but fear stops me from expressing them. I actually "naturally" disagree with a LOT! I just don't voice it, which is centuries old cultural pressure.

I found power in the Lord to speak the truth without fear. A lot of my trouble in the beginning was that I didn't have a clear personal conviction about truth because I didn't spend time making decisions about what I believed. I didn't think it was that important. Once I started reading the Bible and agreeing with God about what He says is truth, I gradually became more bold about speaking out against falsehoods and lies. It is actually very liberating to know the truth, and it gives me an identity that I wouldn't otherwise know I had. The best part is identifying with the Lord Jesus Christ!

@@graftme3168 yes, having a clear moral framework helps stand up to every challenge you will ever face, look at all the religios comunities, they were the first to realize the craziness of covid politics because they actually care about perseving life, and can see that those politics were Never meant to protect lives. Same with every other issue, if you don't have a great moral compass it is very easy to get mind controlled.
