I will say, this kid was at least respectful and made a couple of good points. He isn't just the "normal" college kid that gets up and argues without anything to back it up with. I love a good back and forth. Nice job Charlie, as usual.
Tired of the "red-pilled" nonsense. Republicans are just as complicit as Democrats in the destruction of this country. Look at who's signed border bills, money for Ukraine, etc.
At least this person came up and spoke his mind and not regurgitated so called facts off of his phone. The fact he was willing to listen was refreshing also.
Just watched from across the pond. The reason Donald Trump was your greatest President is because he's not a politician so looked at what was going on in America and the world through the lens of a business man. Oh and he is NOT corrupt. Trump 2024❤
Before he was president he has been convicted of corruption and admits it in more than one semi autobiography. What makes you convinced he was not corrupt during his presidency.
Donald Trump the greatest president well that is highly debatable. The idea that e is not corrupt is laughable if he committed financial fraud before he was president what makes you think he did not when he was president. In business he probably lost more more than he made with a string of business deals. he only stayed in business due to the success of his family. i feel sorry for Americans if they real feel D. Trump is of high calibre surely they should aim a little higher
I think Trump made some poor decisions concerning people he hired, but I think he trusted Washington insiders, who he thought were loyal. Bill Barr would be a good example
Think about it, you worked for Trump and the DoJ comes after you being a lawyer (or some certified professional) and says, "Look, if you don't testify against Trump, we're going to take your license and put you in prison for a year." The DoJ is extorting people to testify against Trump. It's unbelievably wrong. All of these people condoning the actions being taken against Trump are just enabling any law enforcement agencies to do it to anybody. They're so stupid that they can't even see themselves setting these actions to be used against *anybody* in the future. They brought up Trump keeping classified documents in his residences. While I don't think that is right and should be a punishable offense, Biden did the exact same thing... admittedly. If you're going to punish Trump for it, Biden should be getting the same treatment... but he's not. There are so many things that are just plain wrong with this.
Ya think? Want a list? Why do we forgive him so easily for betraying us with these appointments, Covid, the vaccine, the wall? He needs to answer for all of this but no one will press him.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Charlie Kirk and I’m soooo thankful he’s on OUR side, the “RIGHT” side!! May God Bless Charlie Kirk and keep him and his family safe! 🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸 and May God Bless President Trump and keep his family safe and free from harm 🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸. #FJB #Trump2024 #AmericaNeedsTrump #BringBackTrump #AmericaFIRST
Your comment illustrates the problem. The establishment thrives on people being divided. "Our side". What side are you talking about? The Republicans and Democrats are the same. They pretend to be different but all of them receive money from special interest groups. The trade points he mentioned about Trump were meaningless. If Trump 'drained the swamp' why is it still here? If Biden undid it all then I guess Biden is effective and Trump was not because it all got undone quickly. I'm independent and always will be. My vote is the one that matters because the people who believe they are left or right will never change.
Wow, hats off to this kid for actually articulating his argument and coming up with counterpoints, instead of feelings based crying. We need more people like him. Conversations with kids like this are what's going to save America.
Fair play to that young man. I find it worrisome that 'they' pick fault with Trump while blissfully ignoring the the hash that Biden has made of everyting !
It’s difficult knowing the truth while stupid people try to condemn and insult you. Charlie is the warrior I could never be, he’s a hero for his tenacity and determination.
It's possible to believe that Trump did things that are actually violations of law, but that they would normally be overlooked and not prosecuted unless someone in a position of power has it out for you. Mishandling classified documents is the perfect example. Hillary, Biden and Pence all did the same thing or worse as Trump in that arena but only Trump is prosecuted, when in reality they all committed crimes and should be prosecuted.
This guy is just cherry picking plus does he think anti establishment mean not going after the enemies of america??? And was he about to say trump and Pelosi voted the same way 90% of the time??? He does know that tramp can't vote in the house, right??? Or is he saying trump approved 90% of the house bills??? Does he think being anti establishment mean further slowing down the process of government by rejecting passed bills just to meet a quota to be anti establishment??? Such stupidness… And my goodness, his gish galloping, don't let a leftist do that, especially when it comes to current affairs… don't let them sneak in points… when he said trump's current charges a legitimate, don't let him get away with it, that's the point that really counts… don't let anyone think there's any validity to it, the lawsuits are so disgusting that even leftists and people with TDS should know better than to champion it so as not to make it a constant… challenge him on it, tell him to mention one lawsuit that is legitimate, don't just let him drone past it… everyone has to see how ridiculous and disingenuous he is to say such a thing and try to hide it behind his gishgalloping… don't let him get away with it, don't let this nonsense be normalized because you hate the candidate… the other points were just pointless compared to this…
This young dude is probably way better informed than you and got the balls to stand up and discussing it instead of you just writing some nonsense phrases in the internet that won’t change anything
He at least made a few good points that Charlie himself pointed out. Doesn't sound like the kid was clueless at all. He even had facts to back up the points he made.
Not a good analogy, Les! The Soviet sub in Hunt for Red October that did that got ended by it's own torpedo with it's safeties removed, remember?😕 Way cool movie! 👍
@@Beezlie727... It's actually a great analogy... If the Russian Captain had done it in the first place the movie would have ended ;-) It was also a great analogy because we aren't talking about a movie... and yes it was a great film
Lots of people saying the kid was respectful and gets points for candor. This is how everyone should act when encountering opinions they disagree with. Not acting unhinged should not be a reason to give someone credit. It's expected that those attending college are adults.
It was nice to see a well-informed kid asking questions. He made some great points about Trump's poor history when it comes to selecting his personnel and frankly its a valid concern going forward that Trump would fail to drain the swamp due to his poor judgement on selecting people. It was nice to see a productive discussion for a change.
dont front people out if you aren't looking for trouble. internet warriors are a dime a dozen... keep it 100 and solve some shizzle before this goes south badly. you just like them are human or have you become animals i think not. @@dudebro91-fn7rz
@@dudebro91-fn7rz Really? Because I haven't seen a single comment saying that Trump made no mistakes in hiring his cabinet. Actually I've seen some saying that he did mess up in choosing which people to appoint.
I always love when folks are cordial. There’s never a need for vitriol and hate when trying to share one’s views. Cordial and respectful conversations accomplish so much more than the other style.
This has to be up there with one of my favorite interactions. Respectful, agreeable points on both sides. Why can't everyone have conversations like this?
It was nice that Charlie Kirk acknowledged fair points the young man made but Charlie Kirk made his case that Trump is anti-establishment which is why he has so many supporting him. Trump absolutely made mistakes and he had a bit of learning to do as a politician. People often claim they are something they are not when applying for jobs and it takes seeing their incompetents before you know to fire them.

Kudos to that fine young gentleman that asked the question. He made valid points without hyperbole, and listened respectfully to the answer. Wish more folks would be like him.
This was one of the best talks I have seen. This young kid gives me hope for the future. I might not agree with everything he said but some, but I bet we could agree to disagree respectfully. And that is what is missing in the world the western world today. Our grandfathers fought for our freedoms our youth seem to want to throw away to authoritarianism.
Since he has hate, phobia, and intolerance for Trump, why do they all say "hate, phobia, and intolerance - are bad" ??? This is fascism: " _WE_ can do it, but if *you* do it, it's _bad_ . Or the flip side. Also, the student was quick to "dismiss" Charlie's correction. Good job, Charlie!
I like this kid. He’s nuanced. He actually considers his positions instead of being lock-step with the Democrat party. More people on the right AND left need to break away from accepting establishment R and D principles.
I think both sides brought up good points. Trump is anti-establishment but I don't think he's 100 percent anti-establishment. If he was, Wray (who Trump hired) wouldn't be in charge of the FBI.
I've now been watching many of these debates and I have to say this kid definitely knew what he was talking about. He did far better then all the others I've seen try to debate Charlie. I'll put it right out there. I don't like tRump. He's a fraudster. A terrible business man. Sure he has money, but a good business man doesn't bankrupt half a dozen companies. Or loose 900 million dollars on a casino. His behaviour as a campaigning and during his presidency was appalling. Making fun of disabled people and veterans. That is not the behaviour of a president. And certainly not someone I can respect.
This is a generation that can't find their home city on a map, but knows more about world politics than all those who have gone before them. It's amazing.
Who cares if he is or isnt. Judge his presidency by what he did, what he accomplished, what he didn’t do and what he didn’t accomplish. For me he was our best president since Reagan.
The kid was a real class act. Very intelligent, very respectful. Made some very good points and was very open to engaging in a genuine, respectful dialogue. Definitely the product of good parenting.
Term 2 for Trump, I’m in… I read where Grover Cleveland learned quite a bit from his first re-election loss, for example he detested a federal welfare state, among other things, and got re-elected…
The swamp so much deeper and wider than Trump could imagine. He’s not a politician so in his first term all he had to go on were recommendations from some of the same swamp creatures. Staffing a presidential administration is not like hiring contractors in your field of expertise.
Sometimes I think what anti Trump people get confused with is just because people support Trump does not mean they have to agree with everything he did.
