Honestly, I'm starting to think maybe you're right, with your comment about how Charlie's True form goes deeper than what we saw in episode 8... If you'll remember, near the end of episode 8 her arm turns black and red, a feature that doesn't happen in the demon form we've seen so far... So it's most likely that we will see a new transformation in the future, one resembling her black and red arm much more.
My main theory in the running for why charlie doesnt quite change in demon form is because she either doesnt know how to control it or because she has stages before going full demon. Using the theory that even beezelbub (queen bee in helluva boss) seemed to get angry at the drop of a hat it gives the sense that demons have different forms according to how angry they are. Charlie works on supressing her biggest form so she doesn't appear threatening or commanding. Therefore the form seen in the final episode was her removing some restraint on her form just enough to fight well. This is kinda more supported due to her hand changing to block adams punch hinting there is more to her form than meets the eye. So in theory her hand hints that there could be further transformations if she gets angrier and lets her actual full demon rage go more... So i propose that the first demon charlie draft is the mid stage of her being angry (just like we saw in final season 1 battle) and the full dragon form is when she truly loses it.
I love how Charlie looks more professional and mature in this design. It would make more sense and be a lot more interesting, maybe being in hell would've matured her and given her a hardened outlook. We'd also be more likely to believe she can and is capable of achieving her goal in the story!
I love the episode one rewrite!! I think starting with showing Charlie's kindness towards Vaggie would be a really good establisher for their relationship and Charlie's character and how it contrasts with the rest of Hell
I love the idea of Charlie herself have gone through a a redemption arc and still going through an arc of being a good person herself ❤ Husk had said Charlie avoids her own issues

As someone who is an expert on demon mythology, nope. Most demons were either just hairy guys with horns, or were just really sexy people, or disgusting multi headed furries Beyond mortal comprehension.
I haven't watched the re-design of her parents yet, so maybe I'll change my mind after watching it, but I feel like Charlie looks more like a great-aunt in this. I love the design and it's way better than anything I could do. I like the idea of Charlie being a dragon or dragon like, but I think I'm too attached to the original design. Her demon form is pretty lackluster though, I can agree on that.
Please write more episodes I'm begging you! I really like the idea of Charlie being slightly older in both appearance and behaviour, and greatly prefer your version

Charlie’s new design is awesome, and I love it so much! I really like how Vaggie and Charlie share the main character role, and how Charlie’s parents will both look like they’re related to Charlie(also, nice choice of music, Minecraft music is awesome background music). The Bed and Breakfast for Former Baddies is a great name, and I like their staff uniforms and how Charlie’s uniform looks a little bit different to make sure she’s distinguishable from the rest of the staff, and her horns are really cool! I love her having a tail too, and you very much nailed the therapist mommy energy. The glasses have a lot of therapist energy, and her suit and skirt lean into both energies. Her design is amazing and I love it(I really like the white tips on her fingertips and tail, that’s one of my favorite things to see in designs. I have no idea why I like that kind of detail so much, but it’s really cool). Also, her pants-leggings are amazing, and the white streak through her hair is awesome. Choosing to tone down Charlie’s character was a really cool choice, she’s a very vibrant character in the original show, and I agree that it would work a lot better if we saw her with Vaggie more often.(I also love both her demon form designs). True, it doesn’t make sense how ignorant Charlie is in the original show, especially if she’s 200 years old there. Even if she was sheltered until her mother disappeared, people really do change a lot in seven years, it's a very long time(I think there's a saying too where people experience a major change every seven years, or that "life stages"(not sure if that's the right term though) for people's personalities and character are seven years long, in the sense that a 21 year old person would likely be extremely different than they were at 14. (I'm not really certain why I remembered that, and I'm not sure where I heard it, though.))
It's really cool how Charlie recognizes that only a licensed therapist can really help make a difference in Hell, everything bad and atrocious has become so normalized there that the only natural change that sinners can really go through without conscious thought is changing for the worse. Staying the same in the face of everything in Hell is probably really difficult, and changing for the better is near impossible with so much happening constantly. It’s kind of like a self perpetuating vicious cycle, or a catch 22 type situation, because nobody has any support to try and be better and even if they did try to change and change on their own, there’s still absolutely nowhere to go so there's no actual incentive to change either. I LOVE the idea that she was an Overlord for part of her early life, a big concern for overlords is that the souls they own and the territories they control are attacked and semi-destroyed annually, so the exterminations have a very large chance of destroying a big chunk of their power(or even ending with the overlord themselves dying). Charlie doesn’t have to worry about the dying part herself, and just like other overlords can take over a power vacuum of their fellow overlords, Charlie can too, with her being the princess of Hell as well, it would be ridiculously easy for her to take advantage of power vacuums. Having Charlie assume Lilith died in an extermination and having that be her reason for deciding to start her own path to redemption makes Charlie’s character really interesting, and it gives her desire to help sinners redeem themselves a lot of weight. It might also afford her some more credibility in the eyes of Hell’s citizens too, because she can sort of stand as an example of someone who changed(it probably also helps make her someone people don’t really want to attack too).
Her having to actively choose to be kind is an awesome personality detail, and I love it. Also, Charlie being accidentally intimidating is really cool(I’m just imagining a scenario where someone is just passing her on the street and being afraid of her but then if they actually end up talking to Charlie she just smiles and speaks kindly to them, the total opposite of what whatever sinner talking to her expected. I’m a really big fan of the characters that look outwardly intimidating but are actually really kind). I love your idea for episode one, and having it start when Vaggie first fell is awesome, and the introduction of Charlie’s character being a “terrifying at first because of the lighting but then the character that originally looked terrifying is actually really kind and nice” is great and one of my favorite ways to have characters introduced. Charlie showcasing her therapist skills and then her and Vaggie becoming friends makes a lot of sense, and will really establish their relationship while feeling natural at the same time. The two of them trying to find people who want to stay at Charlie’s Bed and Breakfast for Former Baddies, but then having Angel Dust show up on his own is really interesting and I like it a lot!
Charlie’s full demon form is AWESOME! She looks super cool and terrifying at the same time, I really like the fur along her back and her color scheme! Her horns tie really well into the snake-like dragon design and her head-wings are awesome! She’s got big ol' fangs and claws, and she looks very powerful. I love her full demon design so much.
ngl I like thiss full demon form demon of Charlie alot, feels more beastly you know. also I think the main issue with charile is that we don't really get to see why she is like this or even her asking question about what these sinners were like when they were alive , cuz the premise get so undermined in the show it's self which by proxy make Charlie a weaker characters. there is just no further exploration of how is she gonna redeem these sinners which suck cuz I kinda like Charlie as a character
One final thing, I just couldn't get it out of my head as to why Charlie looks nothing like Lilith... So I did some digging and found that Charlie shares a lot more features with another character of Viv's. Roo, who shares many similarities to charlie, from their eyes, to their noses, to large black and red arms. But of course the first design of Charlie has even more resemblance to Roo. If you don't know who Roo is, i don't blame you. Basically, she's a character Viv's said will appear later on in the show. Her full name is the Roo't of all evil, Viv's secret main villain, who is quite literally the source of every bad thing and every sin that has ever happened on Earth... If it is eventually confirmed that they are indeed related, this could have huge ramifications for the show and Charlie.
my theory is that Charlie's demon form is that she's only PARTIALLY transformed considering stolas, Al, and every other demon form we've seen using their final form it doesn't make sense for her demon form to be so little of a change and since she's uber powerful hell royalty it'd make sense she's tougher than THAT considering lucifier was playing with adam like a child this show is 4 seasons and I hate to tell everyone that this has been out for years between crew members shows take years to develop especially animated shows so there's no way that's all charlie has to offer in terms of strength, and we've seen alastor using a half transformed form as well in the end of stayed gone, to intimidate husk, so on and so forth
In regards to Charlie being like a Disney princess, I think that was one of the main ideas behind her (probably not until after the Zoophobia era though because she was just a normal sinner back then). Cool concepts here btw, very interesting.
I'd totally be on board with Charlie being like a disney princess if she felt like she had a little more to her. She feels like Asha in the sense that she's not really her own character with her own unique personhood, more like just an amalgamation of all other disney princesses which leaves the both of them feeling bland and generic.

I don't want to sound bad, but I really hope that Charlie and Vaggie will just be best friends. I don't want to see them romatical. We already see that with Blizo/Stolitz, and I want that to be their thing. And considering the redemption aspect, if Vaggie returns to heaven, she would have to leave Charlie behind, and a relationship over such long distance will simply not work long time. I would like to hear your thoughts, but that's just my take.
@@The_Last_OldOne I don't know what I'll do with their relationship. I hate forcing any romantic pairing in my writing, even in my AO3 that's specifically about shipping I'm not forcing an endgame. When I write a story, I just write the story and if two characters happen to have really good romantic chemistry, I'll pair them up. If not, then they stay friends.

I don't know what your plans for Adam are, but instead of killing him, how about Lucifer keeps him locked inside his house(dark tower) upside down hanging on a 180 degree turned cross, with a perfect view of the pride ring, and Lucifer would occasionally visit his enemy, trying to make him fall.
im going to be honest abot this i mean your drawing looks great for both of them but.........she feel more like an imp looking demon then the chiled of lucifer and lilith im so sorry to say this but i have seen alot of redesige that just removeing everything and they complety chage everyhting thre persanalitys and body types and call it a redesige when its not and i hated that feeling when people call it i fix it when they chage everthing from the original artist like does it feel like an insult for the creator or to them or not.........but still your art still look great tho and a mini rewrite too its funny.
Oh don't worry, I've got a reason for why she's half imp. I redesigned her parents first and I wanted to make their video first but I was running out of time so I put Charlie out first. Their video goes up tomorrow. Also these are more "Reimagined" than "redesigned."
@@ajthewildwolf reimagined is fine for me but when some people call it look i fix it that when i drew the line becuase i don't want to be an insult or mean to the original creator of the show and the other artist who desige i know they work hard on them........and can i ask if she a dragon that mean she a lizerd dose charlie in your reimagined shade her skin becuase when i think of it it kind of works for some reason in my head for the plot when sometime they are stess when they are molting there skin they get agrassive but i won't juge it just remember to take your time with your drawing and keep improveing everyday and take a few breaks too when you need them .
