*CLASS* I don't even think the country music community realizes yet how much they are going to miss this gentleman. They don't make too many gentlemen like Charley Pride.
Most entertainers nowadays would've had pictures taken and uploaded on their social media accounts for bragging rights. Charley just did this out of the goodness of his heart. Such a class act who stayed true to country music, if heaven really does exists then this man is up there. RIP Charley Pride.

He is really a kind, humble, sweet man... from the way he speaks. Angels in heaven are surely singing with him today. You will always be in my heart, Mr. Pride. Your songs will always remind us of what great a singer and a man you were. He is one of a kind.
I had the honor the meet and drive this authentic and humble man in 1987 in Springfield Illinois to Taylorville Illinois. Truly a genuine human being cared about others. GOD BLESS YOU Charlie
I never got to meet this man but he has been a inspiration in my life since I was about eight years old. I am now 59 and counting and he’s still an inspiration. Maybe I’ll get to meet him on the other side some day. May you rest in peace Mr. Pride. Much love Sir.
I had the opportunity to go to his concert in Brandon a few years back. He kept right on singing and he shook hands with all who wanted to shake his hand. Charlie is a very humble man. I always loved his music and now his humbleness.
I seen Charlie at a night club in Portland,Oregon when he was just getting started, and when he went on break came around to all the tables and shook hands with everyone and thanked them for showing up.
Charley was a true gentleman. The star that he was, He was one of the most down to earth people in this world. Rest In Peace Charley! There will be a grand old opry in heaven with Charley there! He’ll be welcomed with the rest of the stars who have gone before him!

@@benmurphy5675 I met Charley personally and he sang 2 songs that I'd never heard of, even though it was moons ago just lovely, yes love all his songs.
Charley loved ppl. He always seemed to be a bit shy to me though. He was a very good man, i could tell that when he performed onstage. He loved Rosene, his wife, & that was also plain to see.
= 🤔🤨➡ ~ To make a short story long, I sold Grit newspapers when I was very young. A regular stop for Me was the LEDO bar in Anaconda, Mt. When I went in the place was packed and a black Man had a white guitar with gold looking tuning keys, Playing and singing like I never even heard on KOPR radio. The people had the Bartender remove Me. I was warmed back up anyway and crossed Main St, and was over a half block away when I heard "Hey Kid", I turned around and it was that black Man. He came up and told Me He was sorry I had to leave. We talked a couple minutes then He went back to work. It wasn't till later watching T.V. when I saw {Charley Pride}! 😃🤩😁Yup!! G-G.
