Robison joined with the label after the firm approached him with the opportunity. His lone Top 40 country hit, "I Want You Bad," was first featured on his album "Step Right Up," which was released in 2001. The song was later released as a single.
Robison stated that he had permanently lost the capacity to sing as a result of a medical treatment that had been performed on his throat in 2018. The therapy had taken place in 2018. He announced his retirement from the stage and studio in a message on Facebook which read, "Therefore, with a very heavy heart I am officially retiring from both."
