I 've always considered the tune Samba De Orfeu to be a little campy, mainly cause i only knew mediocre dance versions, but the Charlie Rouse playing, WOW. Maybe Stan Getz was the pioneer in bossa sax, but Charlie Rouse in this setting has nothing to envoy to Stan, nor to Sonny Rollins. Charlie Rouse is criminally underrated.
