Jill (Farrah Fawcett) has decided to leave the team, but Charlie has already found a great replacement!
From Season 2 Episode 1 'Angels In Paradise' - Sabrina and Kelly welcome a new Angel in the person of Jill's little sister Kris. However, the celebration is short lived as the Angels receive word that Charlie, who was on vacation in Hawaii, has been kidnapped by Leilani Sako, who wants the Angels to break her husband Billy out of prison or else she will kill Charlie. The girls succeed in getting Billy out, but before they can make the exchange, Charlie is taken hostage by the even more vicious Mr. Blue, who wants Billy dead.

Farrah left Charlie’s Angels because she and Lee had the same work rate; but Lee made a hella lot more money than she did. Farrah wanted to do a show that’d pay her the same as Lee or close to it. She couldn’t find one; so she opted for movies instead.

I noticed this cheating bitch on ESPN sitting next to another guy they just blessed her on Jenna and Hoda he just lost his name from the lamb book of life. They didn't even know but good job. Letting me sit in bullshit while she off building her foundation with and serving men not me nated in the book of angels and bible Nate Christ as many told me. This is partly the reason she not here to get me. He used my wife without my permission must be put to death. If they had any s cual incouturse they both must be put to death it is the law of the land and God word the bible. Thrones are all around in the sky above and ground and they know. And why was she there with him and not me. Her foundation is not build on the solid rock which is the only one that can be laid right now.

Cheryl was a diva who wasn’t nice to the little people behind the scenes and Kate hated her for that. Kate was a pro. Cheryl wasn’t but she knew how to manipulate situations and make everything about her. Basically she’s very good at playing the victim role.

In 1976 Cheryl Ladd had tested for the part of Nancy on the Aaron Spelling series Family, but lost out to Meredith Baxter Birney. When Farrah left CA in 1977, Spelling asked her to come in and replace Farrah. She saved the show.

When Kate Jackson left, Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith were not able to carry the show. And the replacements didn't work either. Kate Jackson was irreplaceable. No one could have replaced her. Spelling/Goldberg were so freaking desperate LOL.

That's what happens when a producer won't credit the woman who created the show, who was the best actress and who they badmouthed because she was a creative spirit who wanted to make the show better. After all she was the only one who gave the show the much needed substance. So Kate left and they were lost. Big time! Although Ladd tried to sleep her way to the top. Didn't work out. Even though Ed Lakso wrote some mediocre Kris centered eps for her. Kate was a pro. Cheryl wasn't. Whether you like it or not swolfe9668.

Not many people know this but Circus Of Terror was actually the first episode shot of Season 2 and even while filming they still wanted Farrah to come back and were offering her more and more money to return. Cheryl didnt get 100% sign off that she had a job until they filmed this opening S2 scene weeks later.

Because Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg had taken Farrah Fawcett to court hoping to get her back on the show fulltime (which didn't happen). When that failed, Ladd was then given the fulltime go ahead to replace her The matter with Farrah was eventually settled as she was given (a then whooping) $150,000 per guest appearance over the course of the show's third and fourth seasons.......

@@crystalball6358 Yeh Cheryl said that it took a very long time for Kate to warm up. I think Kate felt threatened and felt like being cold to Cheryl was being loyal to Farrah. It really upset Cheryl. She said that she was extra nice to the new angels that followed because she wanted them to have an easier and happier time than she'd had when she was the new girl. She praised Jacqueline and the guy that played Bosley though.

Kate Jackson was the best Angel, the creative force behind the show. She invented it. She was also the most gorgeous and charismatic angel. And guess what happened when she left the show. It jumped the shark! Third banana Smith couldn't save it. Neither could tacky bikini Ladd. The others that followed were irrelevant. And btw, phenom Farrah was replaceable. Of course only because Kate was still in the lead when Ladd joined them. Barbie's never made the show. It was the amazing Kate, Ms. Jackson if you're nasty!

@@msrain1235 I don't remember what the behind the show biography I saw said or I read it somewhere. Maybe you can find it? I think it had to do with poor Cheryl having some big shoes to fill and Kate didn't think Cheryl was doing a very good job. Or maybe Kate was just jealous of Cheryl because Cheryl became really popular herself. I liked Cheryl a lot. Still do. Cheryl is very beautiful and she shined as bright as Farrah did on Charlie's Angels.

To be honest my favorite Charlie Angels were Kelly, Kris, Julie, now you all can get mad but here's why no offense to Sabrina, when Charlie gives the Angels assignments and who usually doesn't the karate kicks or defends themselves more Kelly, Kris, Jill, and Julie, Sabrina in a way can't fight. Sabrina can used a gun but to defend herself I don't think so. I liked Kris she kind of had Jill's personality in the group. Julie may have been a model but she is a good detective and Angel. I kind of figured Sabrina and Kris didn't get along in real life that probably explains why she never made any guess appearance on the show liked Jill did and Tiffany at onetime did. They could of brought Jill, Tiffany and Sabrina back when everyone thought that Kelly was going to die of that gunshot wound to the head remember in that last episode or series? I know what you mean about the original character sometimes when you replace someone thinking it will better it's not the same just like on the series Alice when the writers was trying to replace Flo with two other blind haired women. I liked Flo both women was trying to act like Flo.

I find it fkd up that when pop culture refers to Charlie’s Angels in most cases Cheryl gets excluded, portraying only original 3. Cheryl saved this show from the cataclysmic blow by Farrah’s departure. Cheryl IS one of the originals.

Cheryl replacing the one and only Farrah only worked because Kate was still on the show. It was different with Kate. No one could fill her shoes. Kate was the glue that held it together. The show never recovered from Kate's departure. Cheryl could not save it. She was fourth banana. And after two years she became second banana. But the show was nothing without Kate and Farrah. The original Angels made the show. All the others will always be replacements.

First fell for her as an 8 yr old watching the movie of the week Satan's School For Girls 1973. She only had a small part, but I was mesmerized. Then a year later she played a movie star on Happy Days and then when she walked through that door a few years later I was so happy.

Kate, Jaclyn and Cheryl were the ones who made the show, the other ones much less, of course Farrah was Farrah, rep, but they three made the show, honestly i dont like anything when the show is remembered with only the original angels, what about Cheryl? 4 of the 5 seasons!

I was NEVER a fan of Farrah Fawcett. Nothing personal. Just think she was overrated. Cheryl Ladd brought a sweetness that Farrah to me didn’t have. I’m personally partial to brunettes. Jaqueline Smith and Kate Jackson were MUCH more sexier and cuter than Farrah. IMO.
