@Hank Sheffer I got a kick out of it because your eye roll said exactly what I was thinking. Sounds a lot better to say "I found the gold in the Superstitions" than "I broke into a dentist office and stole the gold." Even though that story won't lead anyone to a lost bonanza, it was a fun story to hear, thanks Hank.

Valley Forge Military Academy is one of the elite military academies in the world, which I’m sure you already know, and that’s really awesome that you went there! I’d love to visit there one day, hopefully as soon as this pandemic crap goes away and check out the history of the academy and read some stories of some famous people that went there. Really like these stories. This one has a lot of newspaper documentation in early 1935. More to the story as newspapers report the first time Charlie Williams came out with $500 which the government took. A year later Williams and John Hallberg bring out $10,000 which they sell without talking to any police. Then in 1941 Williams & Hallberg claim to find smelting room in cave near Needle. Then Williams disappears from the papers. However, in March 1940 a Marion Walker shows up finding the old Spanish tunnels which Linesba mined, as reported by Barry Storm. Walker's ending is reported in papers when murdered in 1973. I'm naming both Williams and Walker as I've heard they were known to be the same man, but other than appears both born in 1889, I can't find evidence for that claim.

Bob Kesselring mentions this in a video interview on RU-vid - everyone here should look that up because he swears he has imagines and all kinds of finds that he *can’t* dig up because he wants to *preserve* the area.... claims he’s figured out the Peralta maps and the stone hearts and that he found them by flying over in a helicopter, tracked out and found them all including a cave full of pews, like an old abandoned and closed-off cave with gold bullion all stacked up, a statue of gold and that he knows alllllll this but can’t get any of it. Look him up, he says he has the metal detectors to prove it

Back then if one found gold if was best to keep one's mouth shut. My Grandparents had much gold saved and they related to me that alot of it was old gold pieces from the late 1700s early 1800s and they were conned by that 1933 Act to turn the coins in. They were told that they would be imprisoned so off it went. Those coins could have been worth hundreds of thousands of dollars today or in the 1980s when they passed on to go to Our Lord. This government from my position seems to run on stupidity and threats.

Drinking and Gold Bars do not go hand and hand. I would of NEVER WENT BACK TO Apache Junction. If you think about what makes him want to draw himself there if all he does is have problems with people. I mean if you rob banks in Phoenix chances are your going to get caught by our government if you stay in the same area and don't flee. Soo what makes these guys find gold and stay in the same area? Chances are because of the earthquake in 1887 finding gold in caves is really stretching things because of the ground retakeing it covering it back up again. Has anyone found Gold recently in the SS mountains in the past 5 to 10 years?

I believe it a mixture of gold and mercury called an amalgam. Some mercury is added to make the gold easier to work into shape without having to heat it up which you can't do in someone's mouth.
