Thank you for talking briefly about the silicone scar tape. I have been trying to think of a way to repair my Raquel Welsh wig where it's coming apart at the front . I have tried sewing it back together with clear thread, but it's pulling apart again. I'm going to try this tape to see if I can repair it and pull the pieces back together. Thanks again.

You're very welcome, Sue!👍 I suggest using clear silicone scar tape on the underside to reinforce the lace. Also, I find that if you gently pat the sticky side of the tape with your finger after applying it, it becomes less shiny. I hope the tape works for you!💖

I love this.... has enough 'feeling' of layers/movement to feel sassy AND it seems to provide coverage I am always looking for to hide my jaw line, especially in profile view.... I am average/petite (21.25/11.5 ear to ear/12/5 front/back) Do you think adjusters would allow enough cinching to keep it secure? I have just begun wearing wigs, and so far Ellen Wille's Alive, fits great, her Melody is a tad large, but still okay, and her Miley Mono is a Tad small. I also prefer if possible to NOT wear grip or cap underneath, as I find the heat suffocating. This seems like it could be ideal for summer IF it's a 'good' fit for me, and IF I can find a light brown/neutral highlighted color to brighten/lighten my bio medium-light brown/neutral hair color. Thanks again. It is SO helpful watching you make steam/heat adjustments to style in real time, especially for we NEWBIES. Thanks!

What is scar tape and how do you use it

Hi Mary! You can buy silicone scar tape at almost any drug store. I buy mine from Amazon. It's a one sided tape that I use to help create a natural scalp appearance on my wigs. This way, I don't need to wear a wig cap. This is a synthetic style, so there's some shine to it, especially under bright lights. I like a bit of healthy looking shine. However, if the shine bothers you, I recommend using some dry shampoo powder (not the spray) to tone it down.👍💖

@@user-tk9bj4cj1g Thanks Cathy!😊 Due to a lawsuit in 2023 and the recall of some aerosolized dry shampoos in 2022 (search Google for details), I recommend using a powder instead of a spray. Here's a link to a video where I show how I like to use the non-aerosol dry shampoo powder - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eC8PzOHzaZc.html. I use the Hair Dance Volumizing Dry Shampoo Powder (Lavender) from Amazon. Hope this helps!💖
