ATTENTION CITY OF CHARLOTTE. Ladder 39 went into service at 8:01 a.m. With Ladder 39's arrival, Charlotte Fire has 17 aerial devices on duty serving the people of Charlotte. Ladder 39 is housed at Firehouse 39, 8325 Providence Rd. in the Arboretum area. The first crew includes, Capt. Hines, Engineer Williams, Firefighter Cato and Firefighter Severns. Their first call was medical for a cardiac arrest patient.
