From an Australian looking at this I Am Humbled by the Greatness of the Firefighters who like here in Australia give their all to Save Life And Limb without trying to lose Theirs. What else can you say. I was on Holiday in the United States once and saw first hand a City Station Call Out to a Large (to that which we call a Bushfire) with Multiple Units, Water Tankers and A Semi with Bulldozer, This was an Awesome sight. Calfire were also Flying that day. We of the General Public sometimes forget the effort by both Firefighters on the Ground and in the Air. When we all sit back and think about it these People are the Heart and Soul of that we can Depend on in an Emergency. Structure Fires, Storms, Bushfires, Vehicle Accidents, What horrible scenes these People are at times met with and what a Great Job They Do. To the Men and Women of the United States Firefighting Fraternity we Thankyou Whole Heartedly for your Service. Without it we would all be Very Unfortunate. Regards
Excellent firehouse. Thanks for the tour. The CSL Officer is a great concept. A lot of the departments in my area incorporate this important need into their PIO role. A definite necessity. Be careful and stay safe.
Good video but hopefully you got rid of the morons at the top of the chain that disciplined Maj. Corey Britt for being an awesome example to firefighters!
We have thirty-eight fire stations in OKC and Fire Station 1 is the only station with a fire pole. The fire pole has been phased out of a few departments, but there are still many fire poles in service.
