While Charlotte isn't directly on the coast, it's located in the southeastern United States, a region known for its high humidity. Here's why: Gulf of Mexico Influence: Even though Charlotte is inland, the Gulf of Mexico, a large body of warm water, significantly impacts its climate. Warm, moist air from the Gulf can travel inland, bringing high humidity levels to Charlotte. Prevailing Winds: The prevailing winds in the southeastern United States often blow from the south or southwest, carrying moisture from the Gulf inland. Topographic Factors: Charlotte's location in a relatively flat region can contribute to higher humidity. Mountains can act as barriers, preventing moisture from moving inland. However, Charlotte's relatively flat terrain allows moisture to penetrate deeper into the region. These factors combine to create a humid climate in Charlotte, even though it's not directly on the coast.
Spent some time in Charlotte during college in the Northeast. Seemed like a decent city. Lived in California, as well. The prices for your houses are GREAT compared to paying a million dollars for a garage in California.

Glad you like the video :). I would say the more established suburb's/cities have their fair share of dentists, But I wouldn't say any are oversaturated.

There have been alligators in the past (most likely released by local residents who had them as pets). But I don't believe there are any alligators there currently. Many people do swim and kayak and enjoy Lake Norman with no issues!
