Happy 50th anniversary of Hanna Barbera classic Charlotte's Web March 1 1973

Henry, Debbie Agnes,, Don, and Paul....they were all great in the movie and may they all rest in peace.

Charlotte's Web is 50 years old ! Still one of my favorite animated movies of all-time Save for the late Debbie Reynolds the rest of the voice cast is unknown to me I didn't know for the longest time it was based on EB White's book (it was actually banned in some schools so kids wouldn't believe animals could talk) Loss, grief, and death are many of the issues the film deals with But it's also full of memorable songs, unforgettable characters, and a sweet loving charm The Sherman brothers from 'Mary Poppins' did the songs Even though Charlotte's name is in the title the main focus is still Wilbur I won't lie I get very sad towards the end every viewing However, this movie still stands as one of the true highlights of 1970s entertainment Brotherly love and self-sacrifice is present throughout with some decent animation between a pig and a spider A true classic in every way even if it wasn't a box office hit and EB White called it a travesty from the original source material

😒----charlottes web came out in the year 1973 right & it's now the year 2020. but for some reason this ain't out on to blu-ray disc yet. however they remade this in to a live action movie.

Footnote, Paul Lynde, not Charles Nelson Reilly, was in Charlotte's Web in 1973!!!

Now I kinda want to see s charlotte's wed trailer done in a modern style, just to see how much trailers have changed.
