I just bought the Hollywood filter and use it underneath foundation and on top, was also told could mix it in with foundation or moisturiser however doesn't show pores or anything....... it's amazing and so pretty
Great review. When you zoom in I can definitely see what you are talking about. I have been using this for about 3 weeks and I really like it. I use it under my foundation so it adds a nice glow to my skin without being too much. Just for reference I have dry mature skin. On me, this works much better than the Becca Backlight filter which my skin seems to hate. This doesn't emphasize my pores but that could be my primer which is Marc Jacobs Coconut primer. I do not use this under my Osmosis Satin Foundation because it isn't necessary but I do use it under GA Luminous Silk, Koh gen doh Aqua, MAC Face & Body, Hourglass Vanish and a few others. Wish there was a pump or a squeezie tube. I don't like the applicator at all. I have not tried the Retoucher Pen yet. I love watching reviews seeing how something may work for one person but not another. So interesting! Thank you for another great review and demo!
I have the Hollywood filter and love it. I’m wondering whether it’s because you used a primer before applying as I don’t. I use this as my primer and it looks lovely. I’m combination Skin so I don’t know if that makes a difference. I use this with Mac face and body and love the sheer look it gives.
I purchased the Flawless Filter last month. I have normal/dry 49 year old skin and found this worked best mixed in with my Estée Lauder Doublewear. I agree if you have more oily skin this wouldn’t work.
I just got this and wanted to use it this morning and I came back to this video. It really needs a pump. Not a lot of product comes out on the doe foot. I have to keep dipping in. Now I had a different experience than you. I put on my strivectin pore filling primer first. Then the flawlsss filter. Then I used the Kevyn Aucoin The Therealist foundation with my beauty blender. I wasn’t super shiny. I’m normal to dry skin. I honestly look glowy but not shiny. I will set with my hourglass powder because I always set my foundation very lightly. So far it looks great. We will see. I don’t get oily so I’ll be interested to see if I look oily in a bit.
One of the best of most honest reviews ever. I've been looking at picking up the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter and greatly appreciated this information. I'm like you - I only like my glow in certain areas, not a grease ball over my face. Tricky with powder because, yes, you lose the glow, which defeats the purpose. Great video! What are your thoughts on using these types of “glowing” products on freckled skin? My skin gets ashy colored freckles (not cute orange ones) after sun exposure, which can make my skin look uneven. I love the idea of illuminating products but am worried that they’ll just contribute further to the unevenness (especially up close).
If this gives you pores, there’s no hope for the rest of us!!😊I have been loving that L’Oréal glowtion , it costs a lot less and doesn’t make me look like the tin man!
Yep... I only use it as a last step on my cheek bones. After I put foundation and set it. It gives a wet glow. Very unique. Great for cheeks... I don't like it anywhere else. It absolutely depends on the finish one is going for.
I don’t remember if you ever tried the Charlotte Tillbury light wand but it great for a glossy looking highlight. You have such flawless skin. I think you would like it. Have an amazing weekend. 😘😘🌸
On camera the skin looks pretty beautiful, but I understand what you mean. I have the Wonder Glow and the Light Wonder foundation and I look just like the same. Now in the winter it is perfect, but in the summer I use the magic foundation. I also have oily skin. I also have the concealer, I like it but indeed it gives you just enough coverage, but it brights up under the eye. Nice review Brianna, I like your reviews. I bought the magic foundation and I completely understand you when you said it was a “weird” foundation..... sometimes the skin looks beautiful, sometimes it doesnt work at all. XoXo

Brianna.....I'm 62 and struggling with foundation.....I really like a light natural coverage......Do you recommend I try the Osmosis? I have dry skin.....very little texture or wrinkles and no pores.... I typically mix a facial oil in with everything to make them less dry looking!
Hi!! You might really love the Osmosis CC Cream! Its light coverage, looks like skin but makes you look younger too ;) . Its been a go to of mine for over a year now and my moms favorite too ;)
I just got the Neo Strata skin active tri therapy lifting serum from premier look & HOLY CRAP ITS AMAZEBALLS! my filler is wearing off & I put this on & I swear I look at least 5 years younger, like immediately. Girls. But this now, it's soooooo good!
What color of eyeshadow do you have on your lids? Love it!! I'm same way with my limelife foundation. I used to sell it and it's the one thing I still can't live wo. If I use their dew date oil under it, I get a natural glow wo being sticky or oily. I'm not sure the Hollywood filter would compare and I'd be wasting my money :/
I got my osmosis products yesterday and WOW!!!! Woke up with bright amazing skin!!! I’m amazed. Also please please please do a video on colorscience/osmosis concealer combo. It’s been tough to find swatches on osmosis concealer.
I’m still on the fence about the flawless filter. I have very dry skin and I am using it mixed in with my foundation and it’s giving me a relatively nice luminous effect. Not sure it’s worth the price however. Thank you for your review.

I agree with the whole video in entirety! Experienced it all myself, just like you! Big pores, greasy effect, didn’t work for me either! The concealer is absolutely lovely..I love both ct foundations as well..and most of everything else..
Omg I hate that gross heavy greasy feeling!! So I 100% see and understand what you’re saying. This would be a complete failure for me too lol. This was such a brilliant review! I was so close to buying the flawless filter but I've got oily/combo skin too! It does look gorgeous as a highlighter though but as you said not worth it if thats all you going to use it for. I don't like alot of CT face products either! xoxo Shaz

For light concealer days when I just want brightening, I use the boots radiant glow concealer. It has the same click pen mechanism as this one. I wonder if it could be a possible dupe?
Hi Bri. Not crazy about the filter thing but I did like the concealer. You touched on Instagram on the product skin better instant eye gel. Could you talk a little bit about that I’m super interested because my major Pepi is the bags underneath my eyes and it seems like that might work I want to know how it works under make up so can you bring us up to speed on that😘
This review came at the perfect time! I was looking at the flawless filter this week but wanted to check out some reviews and demos and couldn't find any from my go to you tubers(until now). Loving the concealer!....i have the same issues with the T zone looking greasy.....pores! Big time! I really like using the glowy products on my cheek bones only myself. And yes,I hate when I can feel my makeup on my face....great review👍

Hi Brianna! I bought this product a few weeks ago. I couldn’t agree with you more. It was disappointing because I can only use it on my cheekbones as a highlighter. I have plenty of products that do that already in smaller packaging 😲😲. Oh well.... If I could return it I would 😩. I’d love to try those Osmosis products you recommend so highly. Even in the ads, on 20 year old models, this product just gave them seemingly large pores and texture so I just passed on this item. I do like the retoucher as well! Sometimes I bypass foundation and just use the retoucher.

i think there was some confusion when first bought out as i know, there was disappointment in general with the shade range as was meant to be a brightening foundation - then changed to a highlighter - then changed to a backlight primer 🤔 i will be honest - very first time i saw your pores 🙄

Just tried this product, then I watched your review, ugh! I thought it was just me, I hate it. My pores look like craters and my skin looks like an oil slick.
Not a fan of Tilbury Retoucher Concealer. The product does not come out effectively. I've had to keep turning to get product. Hate this time of applicator. You have no way of knowing exactly how much product is in the container.
CT products are so overpriced and overrated, they’re less than average quality compared to other brands, i used all her products& the only good thing she has are the lipsticks period.. everything else is exaggerated with the advertising plans and notice how she never put makeup on less than perfect models with colored eyes and perfected skin ..
You are not suppose to use a primer then this, just use this, you beat the whole purpose of it lol & you didn't use enough, don't be scared..it's to give a great glow, you barely used any lol
its not a foundation. charlotte has never once said it was a foundation or that it could be used as a foundation even before the controversy she never said it was a foundation. jeffree star is who thought it was a foundation and is why every is now confused.
Brianna Stanko said in her video that this can be used as a foundation. Again, my complaint was "10 shades is a great shade range", not what that racist POS Jeffree Star said.
It's not intended as a foundation and there's only 7 shades so information Brianna gave out is incorrect. It's a primer and illuminator hybrid that can be worn alone, under, or over foundation. Neither Charlotte nor the website state that it's a foundation. The shade range is trash.
