Prue's funeral from the first epidose of the 4th season of Charmed. Episode is called "Charmed Again"(part 1). During Prue's funeral demons attack Cole(Belthazor) and Piper is very upset and she leaves the funeral.
Absolutely devastated hearing that she passed away in real life, at such a young age, and after fighting so hard and long. Such a big loss. Forever one of my favorite actresses. An icon forever, forever in my heart.
Thank you for playing Prue, Miss Doherty, one of the iconic Halliwell sisters, in the first 3 seasons which is part of my childhood. You will always be remembered by fans of Charmed, BH 90210 and Heathers.
I will never be able to watch this scene again, and hear that woman say those words about Prue, and not think of Shannen. Charmed left an indelible mark on my life for which I will be forever grateful, and Shannen lived her life like a true badass. My heart is broken for her and her loved ones - and in particular for Holly. My condolences goes out to them and the fans he loved her. You will be missed Shannen. Oh blessed spirit, we bid you farewell.
Piper knocking over the vase is one of the reasons this show (and Combs) was so great. It's real talent (writing, acting, directing) when you can get the right amount of humour in an otherwise heartbreaking scene.
3:17 I’ve never seen anybody who was so angry like that. It’s so dense that I hate to see it. Not hate as I don’t wanna watch again or her as a person. What I hate is to see her like that too much of rage almost apocalyptically. I do feel bad for her, but it’s just that I hate to see her that angry. It’s strong and heavy and so fierce that I hate that part. Most of the three episodes of 1, 2 and 3 of Season 4 I don’t hate. I just don’t like them because it’s hard to love or like something with someone angry nearby. So in this case, this is the most powerful and strong scene for me that I hate because this rage is what I’ve never seen before. And it hits me like, “urrrrrrr” as grunting or, “grrrrr” as I feel the same emotion or suffer it when I can’t take the anger from her any longer from disliking it that it makes me wanna hate her like that. Not hate her as a character, but I hate her like that as I hate how angry she is like that like Armageddon as it’s evil looking like the end of the world has come as imagine her rage coming out strongly is like the Tsar Bomba dropped on Sam Francisco where the characters live. The way her rage comes out, the metaphor of the Tsar Bomba detonating and annihilating SF of California in which that is the biggest bomb as a Russian nuclear bomb bigger than Hiroshima and higher into the stratosphere than Everest in which her rage is almost apocalyptic as the Tsar Bomba as rage emitted from you is like an explosion or a fire starting as ignition or incineration.
It’s crazy how sometimes life imitates art. RIP Shannen Doherty. You will never be forgotten to us charmed fans. What you brought to the role of Prue for 3 seasons, lasted years later in our memories. ❤
When I first watch this scene I cry,but I was okay because I know it was a tv show,now I cry again because Shannen Doherty is not here anymore,may she rest in peace.

Aleksandra me too. I was always angry that they never met because they were so much alike. Paige always struck me as a mini Prue but once she was gone she pretty much vanished from the entire show. They hardly mentioned her and we don’t even see photos of her in the manor. She didn’t even get an appearance in the final episode.
The actress who played as prue has sadly passed away battling with breast cancer for 8 years shannen had a very good heart she will get to meet prue but honestly I think it was just character she played rip shannen

It's weird how everytime I watch Prue's funeral I feel like I'm sitting there at the service mourning her death with everyone else...It was very well planned (this scene)

Holly and Shannon was both best friends in real life and they still are..... this scene must have been so hard for her to see Shannon leaving the Charmed series. 2016 and I'm still watching the charmed series. ....I have the entire series .....BUT my best seasons are with SHANNON DOHERTY in IT . I really missed seeing her on TV.......one of the greatest actress in 1990's shows/movies. there needs to be a ## CHARMED MOVIE 2016........

Bad news, it's not only Prue who was killed by the demon, Shannen, Holly's friend died today from her cancer that lasted for a whole 2-decade time period of her cancer, for a long time.

I feel really bad, I grew up watching charmed with mum, for me, Prue has always been an inspiration to me. Strong, tough and never let anything get her down. She is the reason I got the Triquetra tattoo on my wrist. It's not right. 💔💔 Forever my Prue, forever. I will never forget you, rests in peace, iconic like no one.

Honestly this show was so great for its core themes. Some elements were exaggerated and a bit campy, but overall great show. All about love, and having fullfiled life and finding yourself as a strong female protagonist. Yeah and all this in kinda subtle way. It didn't really slammed you across the forehead with it.
I cry every time. I think the show still worked great with Rose McGowan though, it is when Billie and her sister came along that the show sucked. Seasons 1-5 were my favourite. Alyssa & Shannon both said on Twitter that they would do a Charmed movie...I hope it happens.
I thought I was the only one that hated when Billie and Cheristy were included, that season was really annoying because fo them, besides putting the Charmed in an inferior level than that duo was awfull!
Season 8 was ok but what I didn't like was when they gave Billie top billing over Leo and reduced his role in the show and got rid of Darryl although I didn't like how they wrote Darryl in the latter part of season 6 and some part of season 7. They turned him into a major asshole. I understand why he was angry but he took it too far. He knew what knowing about the Halliwell sisters and the supernatural entailed especially given what happened to Andy and eventually Prue herself. He and his wife Sheila acted like these women set out to purposely hurt them.
You can tell how well loved prue was , I feel piper's pain an grief prue's funeral reminded me of someone I cared about who passed he was like a brother to me who protected me growing up . This episode an song helped me cry an grieve

It always felt like like holly and Shannon developed more of a bond through out the show so you can tell she was definitely giving it her all where as Aylssa...there was some real good acting there. Lol

I think my favourite season was two. She was so freakin beautiful in that season, she was always smiling, and more. I love season two with her the best. I did love and enjoy season one. I didn’t enjoy season three that much, because l knew that it was Prue’s last time. It made me extremely sad 😔 Prue will always be in my heart♥️
This hits home for me, my friend was 12 when she passed away from getting hit by a car, her visitation was an open casket and so I saw her, laying motionless, my friends and my best friend all broke down. Her 13th birthday was supposed to be December 5th 2009 but she passed November 25, just 10 days before her birthday. Her funeral was December first. I feel so bad for her parents, because the worst thing to have to do as a parent, is bury on of your children. Rest in peace Alexsey Joi Gotell
I would've liked to have seen what happened between season 3 ending and season 4 beginning. How Leo was able to bring Piper back to life, but not Prue. And Phoebe agreeing to stay in the underworld, but in "Charmed Again" she's back.
I think it was when the demon threw both prue and piper out of the window. piper must have still have some life left but prue did not. her injury must have been more extensive.
Prue hit the wall, obviously. Piper was thrown through the hole Prue’s body created. The deal was that Phoebe would stay in the underworld if her sisters were alive, to save Piper. But because Shax killed Prue, the deal was broken.
I remember when I first heard that when Shannon was leaving Charmed that they were killing her off and was disappointed as she was my favourite character. I remember debating with my sister why they didn't just recast her. Ironically she was the one who informed me that she was being killed off.
Because everybody knows it was prues fault for chasing shax outside the manor which led to her demise. Phoebe was helping them but because yous are stupid yous ain’t gonna see that

the song in the background is different on netflix and Im just not ok with that . the song bell, book and candle has great meaning to me. you see, my mom and I loved this show; charmed. and my mom passed away in 2008, and it was my idea to play this song at her funeral.
I don't blame Piper for the outburst but unfortunately she has a lot in common with Sister Prue who was part of her and Phoebe too and I can't believe that Leo Wyatt and Cole Turner were getting along in this episode of Charmed 20 years ago

I hate that they changed this song out for something else in the new version. the two times that really bother me that they changed the music are this moment because it SO important and this song is a huge part of this scene, and at Mark Chao's funeral where he meets his Dad again. Sometimes the music makes the scene and shouldn't be changed. They should've paid the licensing for the right to keep those songs in the show. (lets not even mention the Theme song)lol
My big sister introduced me to this show when I was 6 I didn't start watching it until I was 12 or 13 she passed away almost a year ago in November this and Prue's death scene is hard for me to watch again watching it again a few days after her death hurt 1000× worst 0:59-0:1:19 I felt their pain I was hoping we'd get news the hospital made a mistake or the person in the casket wasn't her I love and miss her I really never thought I'd feel their pain until we were elderly but life is unexpecting I'm in Piper and Phoebe's shoes mainly Piper I was super close with my sister like Piper and Prue were
