@@kevinreilly7924 No, not only that but the Cole storyline was the biggest mistake. He should've been just in a few episodes like Rex but after Constance Burge after Season 2 everything got screwed up.
I always found it hilariously convenient that Cole caught THE charmed one who could luckily orb or otherwise she'd be dead. Had it been Phoebe or Piper coming down the stairs they'd now be up there with Prue!
@@Damodred_HeiressNo, you're getting your scenes mixed up. She saw Piper's daughter when Pru was there instead of Paige. I remember that episode. I even have the DVDs except 5-7.
@@kimberlyhenderson7604I’m talking about Morality Bites. Season 2 episode 2. in this episode Phoebe, Piper and Prue go to the future, the year 2009. Phoebe is in prison the entire time and unlike Prue, never sees little Melinda. You’re referring to the Cat House episode with Phoebe and Paige which is not at all what I’m referencing. It’s not even relevant to it.
One of the only things I hate about this show is how they can make the Charmed One's be so damned pitiful from time to time. They have literally been fighting demons and other kinds of supernatural creatures for years at this point, but as soon as one pops up in front of them, Piper and Phoebe get tossed aside like rag dolls. I know it works for the plot, but do they have to has so many "regression points" like that?
Yeah they have great powers, but it's like they never really learn how to properly fight, defend themselves, explore their powers etc. I think it's just a poorly written series, the writers were lazy to pull up better fights and obstacles (It still remains my favorite series though)
Well, I’m sorry that being thrown like rag dolls in the show bothers you which that is kind of pitiful that you know you’re gonna mess with your complaining about I mean just find you for a long time doesn’t mean they’re gonna always be faster than the demons but like some of this, that’s the thing I love about the show with some of the comedian comedian stuff and I’m not saying that right but yeah You’re the funny stuff they do and that’s why they do it if it works so I wanna keep it. They kept doing it and maybe it doesn’t like it personally I feel if you don’t like it don’t watch it then I mean sure there might be some things I found on the show but that’s what made it good show, but I didn’t complain about it the little things I did find
I think you’re forgetting the girls didn’t get to grow into their potential grams bound their powers and in this specific episode it was 4 years in and Paige was brand new to the craft. They had no one to learn from besides the book and still had regular lives they weren’t always on demon hunting mode
In the show, the main problem with the sisters was they saw their calling as witches as a side job. Something to do when it's there but unless absolutely necessary, let's just be normal humans. This was Chris' main frustration with them when he came back. Even after he warned them that some evil was after Wyatt they were more interested in their love lives and their careers. And you know, to an extent, I get it, but this explains why they're constantly caught off guard. They rely too much on the Book and the strength of the Power of 3. I think it was only ever Prue and Paige who were shown to really study being a witch when there's no immediate danger. They were the ones actively wanting to grow as witches. And even they were seen putting that aside when their love lives or careers came calling. Phoebe was the only one who bothered learning hand to hand combat and I think she stopped after she lost Cole. She never even bothered to home her empathy. Piper was more into the potions aspect. But I think I only ever saw her biggest worries as the club (their primary source of income), her marriage, and giving Wyatt a normal life. And I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing. Or that the witches should be vanquishing demons left and right. But they could have hit a balance between their two worlds. Some way for them to reach their full potential as witches, revive the old wiccan customs, and still maintain good relationships, grow in their careers, and relax every once in a while.
