I’m so curious about these pickups and how they differ or are similar to others. Also the Govan model in general in its versatility. Thanks for sharing!
I also have a 2014, and I simply modded it by replacing the tone pot with a Fender S-1 pot, instead of a toggle switch, adding a couple of wires. This way you have the "Single coil simulation" that came on the later models, without drilling holes or modifying the factory wiring. I think it was a good way to expand the possibilities on this model.
Thank you very much for the insight into the GG guitars. I am a new proud owner of the latest model and am intrigued... Regards from South West corner of WesternAustralia. Again, thank you. PS A German with a sense of humour makes me laugh to the core. Best wishes...
Nice video ! I also really enjoyed your reviews of the GG mij model, it will be my next guitar for sure! Actually, the only thing missing for me (like for 100% of HSH guitars) is the position 3 as the 2 full humbecker together. It would be perfect to have both full humbecker + telecaster config in position 3 + mini toggle switch But your config is really interesting, and looks Supra versatile
@@RockGuitarVibes I have one question regarding the neck of both Guthrie Govan signature. On paper it is strictly the same neck as the DK24. Does it feel the same ? Basically the DK24 would be a good option for me but I really prefer the good old strat body (more confortable to sit with). In the end I wish charvel offers a San Dimas 24 and only Guthrie Govan signatures guitars are providing this option… still I know si have to try :) Thanks in advance for the feedback !
