Kolsay Lakes National Park is located on the north slope of the Tian Shan Mountains, southeast Kazakhstan. Often referred to as "Pearls of Tien Shan", the park's main feature are the Kolsay Lakes located between the Raiymbek District and Talgar District of Almaty Region. The scenic Lake Kaindy is also within the park.
Charyn National Park officially, Charyn Canyon National Nature Park is a national park in Kazakhstan, stretching along the Charyn River, including Charyn Canyon.
Here’s all the information you’ll need to travel from Delhi to Almaty.
Visa:
It’s a visa free country for Indians for 14 days, so you only need return ticket.

Hey😊 Thank you so much. You can use any visa card, be it debit or credit card.However you need to check how much your bank will charge for forex conversion charges or is there any other charges your bank will deduct while you use your indian card outside india. Apply for credit card which which have zero mark fees, or i will suggest you to apply for Niyo Global credit card as it has zero mark up fees and it only charges Rs 299 incase you withdraw cash from Atm.

Madam,i have question regarding land border crossing from shimkent to ujbekistan,this october i will go to kajakasthan and then go to ujbekisthan ,essential medicine can i take when the border cross,if not the essential medicine can i purchase from there local medicine shop?

Hey😊 We also carried few essential medicines while crossing border from Shymkent to Tashkent. There was no as such problem. However you can also purchase the medicines from Almaty or Shymkent whereever is suitable for you 😊

Hey 😊 We booked this tour after we reached Almaty. If you are planning for this day tour, please make sure to book it in advance like 2-3 days before. We faced a lot of problems while booking this tour as they only accept cash or kaspi pay, which you need to pay prior at booking time. So we took help from some Indian students who we met there for transferring the payment to the travel company via kaspi pay. So I will suggest you to book it in advance😊

No, it was all okay as per the tour itinerary. However in the last we missed charyn canyon lake as it was dark already.

Hey Amrit, Thanks for making such informative videos, it really helps. Need some information on the stay 46,2 Karmysova street Serviced Apartments , It shows they have check in time of 2 to 6 PM , but we are landing there at 7.40 PM, considering the the property is like 12 kms from Almaty Airport, we should reach there around 10 to 11 PM in the night, Just wanted to confirm will they allow check at that time. Are there any extra charges or what will be the process, I dont see any number or email to contact these guys

Hi Nitish, Thank you so much 😊 We also reached the apartment at around 9 am, however we had to wait for 1.5 -2 hours until we checked in. So it totally depends on the availability of the room. So what you can do is to contact the host on the below number via WhatsApp and request him to allow early check in. +7776689 1111

The company only accept kaspi payment (similar like paytm in India) and cash payments. We also faced difficulty to book this tour. So we met some Indian students in Almaty who paid the agent via kaspi on our behalf and we paid them in cash. You can ask the hotel where you will stay to make payment on your behalf and you can pay them in cash.

Hey😊 The best option is to contact them via WhatsApp and enquire about the bookings. We booked this tour package after reaching there, what we did was that we took help from some Indian student whom we met in Almaty for transferring the payment to the tour company as they were only accepting kaspi payment (similar like paytm), you can ask your hotel staff to transfer the payment on your behalf and you can pay them in cash.

Hey😊 Yes you can visit on this tour with your 2 year son and it is complete safe. I think, making a baby food will not cause concern to anyone. The bus takes break in short intervals where you can make baby food and can use washroom.

Hey 😊 Aap booking.com se pay at property hotel book kr skte h, and vhan ja kr pay krskte h. Booking apko pehle hi krvani hogi kyunki airport pr airlines and immigration k time pr puch sakte h about hotel or apartment booking. Choice apke paas h ki aap airport pr dikhane k liye koi bhi book krle and vha ja kr bhi dekh skte h. But better yehi h ki aap advance mein kuch din ki booking krva kr hi jaye and baki vha ja kr bhi dekh skte h.

Yes August to September is the perfect time to visit Almaty for those who don't like cool weather. So if you want to go in moderate weather then it is good. Else if you want to enjoy cool weather and snow fall then from plan for November-March.
