Hey ☺️ To reach shymbulak you can take a bus which will drop you just outside the shymbulak. Download 2gis applications if you use an iPhone, it will help you to know the bus number you need to take. Also you can book a taxi which will cost you around 2900-3000 tenge i.e.around Rs 500 from the city centre to Shymbulak.
Yes you can visit both in 1 day as in morning you can cover shymbulak and in evening kok tobe however i suggest you to visit on different days as both includes cable car. So might not like kok tobe after visiting shymbulak😀. You can include kok tobe with Cathedral church, 22 guardsmen park and green bazaar tour.
We visited Almaty in the month of November, if you want to enjoy snow in city then visit in the month of Dec,Jan,Feb. In November you will find snow in Shymbulak

Hi Vishal😊 I would suggest you to stay near city centre near. All night clubs are near to the city centre. We stayed at karmysova street and all night clubs were in the radius of 2-3 km. You can also check properties near arbat street. Taxi prices are also very cheap in Almaty so it would hardly cost you 800-900 tenge i.e around 150 rs if you travel 3-4 km at nights. Dont forget to go Bla Bla club in Almaty and the one more club next to it. But make sure to book it in advance.

Hey 😊 The weather in Almaty in January is generally extremely cold and snowy, very similar to weather in Kashmir or Manali like around 0-5 degrees and can be minus sometimes. So if you like to enjoy cold and snowy weather then you definitely you can visit. Else plan for March end or starting April when temperature is moderate.

Hey😊 Prices for round trip for both koktobe and shymbulak are 5000 tenge, however the distance covered by cable car at shymbulak is more than 3-4 times of koktobe. Also shymbulak is much better and best place to visit in Almaty.

Hey😊 You can go to Shymbulak via bus, it will drop you just at the gate of shymbulak. Prices for buses are fixed 200 tenge i.e.around 35 Rs if you pay by cash. Else you can go by taxi, it will cost you around Rs 500 for a distance of 17-18 km from Almaty city centre. For bus routes, download the 2gis app on the iPhone, it will help you to check bus numbers and live location as well. Also you can book a cab through it.
