If I remember correctly but DK said for himself during a live that he’s always nervous to sing to you. Yet he always seems to do a wonderful job. As a DK biased carat I truly can’t put words on how his voice just uplifts me. His voice is truly something and no adjective can describe it. Don’t forget that he also hit that high note in the background at 10:00.
DK is man who always underestimate himself but impressed us with his talent. I mean since his predebut. Then in Home 2019, he cried cause he can't hit high note, then month after he auditioned himself to musical Excalibur in the middle SVT comeback. He is capable and precious.
seungkwan, dk, and woozi are in fact the holy trinity of vocals of seventeen. sure, we have the remaining vocal unit members jeonghan and joshua, but the three are known to do the most high notes and often do the difficult vocals of their songs. they are powerful and iconic.
i agree that those three are the most powerful but jeonghan and shua have voices that work really well in soft/quiet songs and that's impressive in its own right, even if it's not as flashy as hitting high notes
Woozi’s voice is genuinely under appreciated. I know you guys think he was kind of tense, but he can actually just Do That. I think the way he holds his head and neck is actually habit from playing the clarinet for something like six or seven years; he also is the go-to guy for falsetto sections because he can hit whistle notes. Take a look at his solo “Ruby” but also he has a solo line in “My My” that has just the most heavenly run ever. He’s amazing! And he produces almost every song in their discography!

One reason why this song/video is so big in the fandom is because it showcases how versatile Seventeen members are and that even the non-vocalists could pull off a song like this... like, even their Rappers & Dancers were a big part of this and had long singing parts... during the last chorus, the rappers and dancers were singing the melody while the vocalists (especially the 2 main vocalists) were the adlibs/2nd voices... thank you for once again appreciating Seventeen. ❤

Is that Seventeen is a Dance heavy idol group and they are always praised by everyone to the point to earn the title of "Dancing kings of k-pop" and that why nobody notices that how amazing singer they are and i like how you point out each member for their unique singing style. Woozi is without a doubt one of seventeen’s hidden gems!!! Woozi is the vocal unit leader and the main producer of seventeen, He produces most if not all seventeen’s discography. Woozi is known as the Ace of seventeen meaning he’s good at everything, Although he could be tense sometimes the members will immediately choose him as the filler if one of the main vocalists are missing(Dk and seungkwan) Because woozi is the next in line in vocals without a doubt. He’s covered seungkwans line in Kidult and he effortlessly made it perfect! Woozi has a solo song called ‘Ruby’ I 100% recommend it!
I can tell you exactly what it is about DK’s voice.. He has this je nais se quoi were he knows how to translate the joy he gets from music into his voice effortlessly.. You can have all the training in the world, and your voice doesn’t pop because of that.. Even if the song is sad and sorrowful, he matches the mood, yet you can still hear how much he loves music and how seriously he takes the art through his voice..

The trio of Seungkwan, Woozi, and DK are THE BEST!! They are usually the ones in charge of the parts with much more powerful parts on songs and I am not kidding when I say that I am in love whenever I hear them singing their parts and especially when they are harmonizing.. Anyways, the possible reason why Woozi seems to work harder for some notes when he sings compared to the two might be related to a story he once shared (SVT In the Soop) with Joshua. As a kid, Woozi was into classical music, and he was playing the clarinet, he enjoyed it but as he grew older he took notice that even though he was working as hard as the other kids, he was struggling and was not able to win competitions unlike other kids his age, he think it must because of his much smaller body (shorter in height) which might be the reason his lung capacity was not as excellent as some other kids... this led to him losing interest in playing the instrument, although he knew he was still very much interested in music and he convinced his parents to let him join a music academy, the very academy where he would later see an audition poster made by Pledis... He auditioned and was the only one out of about 300 contestants to win and be able to train under Pledis Entertainment, and he became SEVENTEEN's Woozi.

I agree to everything you guys said and I just wanted to say this about Woozi, it's true that he works hard when he sings especially when he hits those high notes but as someone who has followed his performances for a long time, I've noticed that he is a very expressive singer and to me it always feels like he's pouring his heart out, with all of his body when he sings. Woozi is one of the main producers of their songs and he writes most of the lyrics to their songs (even the rap parts sometimes^^). So I think what I'm trying to say here is that he feels very strongly about their songs and he tries to express it by singing the way he does. Also as you guys said, undoubtedly Woozi can do it more effortlessly and I agree hundred percent. Hoping we get to see more Seventeen in your channel!! I love you guys!!! ♥♥♥

Chase and Melia you should definitely go to SEVENTEEN's concert next time, I've been a carat for so long, went to their concerts everytime they go in my country and I still feel goosebumps whenever I hear them singing and performing live like how i felt the very first time I went to their concert. That's how I always felt every single time. It's just purely magical.
