Really cool sounds, but a $400 compressor pedal is definitely for a niche market! Of course, that is part of what makes Chase Bliss unique and special.
It’s expensive but I think the possibilities make a simple thing as a compressor more attractive to more people. We desperately need innovation like this
@@SashaIvantic I'm definitely intrigued. I think I am just being greedy. $400 isn't so bad when you consider how many quirky effects pedals are built into this single design. This thing would probably be 10-20 pedals for most companies; all with prices between $150-200 or more. Maybe I should sell a couple pedals that I don't use an give Clean a try =)
@@bmoneybby I went ahead and bought my spot in line last night. It will be my first Chase Bliss pedal. I am hoping to really dig in and create fresh music. It has been almost 20 years since I was a serious musician though haha! The upside of being a non-serious musician is that I can afford cool gear now… funny how life works.
06:37 instant country (the melodramatic kind at least, which I happen to like). I can't help but wonder what Yvette Young would come up with if she had one of these at her disposal.
I think its a great thing. But im also haooy i dont want it. i just think there are more appealing compressors out there and whilst this ticks a lot of other boxes, they're not boxes i need ticking personally. So i love that they did it, but again, i love that i dont need to go buy it just as much.
@@SashaIvantic Which amp are you using in this specific demo? There's some really nice light gain stuff going on even with your OD off that I'm just loving. Thanks!
Leave it up to chase bliss to create another pedal that is niche and has way too many features for a pedal board... They literally should just make studio gear... Another overhyped over priced pedal that a whole bunch of people will buy... but like ten people will use....
