Although this is no longer the record, this run will always be special to me. At the time, I had decided to step away from streaming and speedrunning while working on IRL stuff, and I had lost dozens of runs on record pace in the preceding weeks. The Chase for the Record stream was my last day to beat the record before taking my break. Additionally, no one had ever set a new WR on a Chase for the Record event before. All these elements culminated together into one of the most emotional and memorable PBs I've ever achieved, up there with originally beating nou1 in 2013 and taking the record for the first time.
