That’s why~ he became the most like House. Chase had fight in him from day the first, even if it started out more as indignant petulance than real audacity. He was never the hospital’s Yes Man.

That would be cool. Since House is technically dead, he could just move himself in with Chase. Would be great to see him come home and bounce ideas off an aged and beaten House.

Well chase doesn't have a ring on his finger, so no wife or kids plus is in his 30s so doesn't live with family, roommates plus looks visibly depressed and lonely enough to not be dating anyone. She has no reason to assume he's married/dating.

Not if they know Chase is a doctor… but I get your point. It would be easy to get chicks in the sack if 1) you looked like him 2) you had his accent and 3) you’re a DOCTOR, of all things. I’m sure he uses that line, I know I would… I’d need it 😂

Chase will not became like House, he will be a better man, House even said it at the last season when Chase confronts him saying he would become like him, House said he wouldn't, in a way that implies House is telling Chase he will be a better man than he was and will be fine

Chase has been around House for so long that he’s become House 2.0. It’s the same with Foreman.

Not shown here but later in the episode when the nun said that she saw GOD through a vision, Chase explained that it was just all the chemicals in her body reacting to her almost dying. It was almost like what House said in a previous season when another nun told House the same thing she saw.

I think he has the best character development in the show.

@minnybri2010 I agree. He went from the silver-spoon, trust fund kid to on par with House. If they ever decide to make a sequel, I’d love a Chase MD, but we’d need House to come back too.

House isn’t a sociopath, he’s too much of an empath so he blocks his emotions out with Vicodin and sarcasm. His character was beautifully sculpted by the writing team, you never see that level of attention to detail in TV shows these days.

I mean most have it for those who went through physically; bone breaking injuries leaving those who broke a leg need physical therapy?!.

Purely staged for this scene. Not realistic.

I'm guessing that is one of the physical therapy room. Most hopstial have a PT department.

@@3kylajsmith Yes, and even the small hospitals where I’ve worked have had PT departments with various machines for exercising different parts of the body. The unlikely thing about this scene is that there’s this fairly spacious room with a few balls, towels, and one machine that only does leg extensions. It seems more likely that the prop/set departments had very little time to throw this room together, and hoped the audience wouldn’t notice that it doesn’t make much sense.

I'd imagine if it's black, it's more difficult to make shapes out of it. So, pretty much a black censor bar.

It wasn't that House was the factual cause (act or omission or breach of duty or care) that caused what happened to Chase, but rather he created a climate/environment of reckless competition that encouraged a disregard for certain protocols or discipline which led to the series of poor decisions that put a dangerous instrument in the proximity of a patient with a risk of psychotic behavior. So House was to blame for the work culture that led to Chase's injury. Like Boeing's leadership created the environment of poor maintenance and rushed production and absent safety protocols...they did NOT cause a technician to skip bolting the door or doing quality checks that would have caught the missing bolt. And this is a great episode because Chase is disillusioned with his life. He has no meaningful relationship with any person after Cameron left. He is heavily weighed by his actions regarding Dibala and the aftermath. He wonders if he has done more harm than good as a physician--a crisis of conscience. He feels unmoored and adrift morally and ethically and interpersonally. In comes Moira a former free spirit gal who is, for some rather hefty reasons, renouncing the world she knows for the refugee of an order of nuns that prohibits even the most innocuous human contact. Chase is captivated not only by Moira's vulnerability, but the tragedy that underpins her chosen path. Chase himself is questioning his own path, and the value of what lays ahead for him along this path. The two meet at a spiritual crossroads for both of them. This is what makes the episode so compelling. The end of the episode is profound in ways that would require far more typing to elucidate here, but it is satisfying, cathartic and reveals a hauntingly tragic element to House's inner torment and anguish that we may have suspected but had not yet heard House himself articulate...which he did in the most emotional way.

Are you supposed to wear gloves when doing a prostate exam?

@@orishaeshu1084 No and yes. In the first case is adviced for social reasons but can actually interfere in the diagnosis. In the second case is adviced for both the doctors and the patients health. You wont see a doctor making an, ie, tactile larynx exam with gloves, its just stupid.
