Bias commentators questioning why they threw Syndergaard out lmao he literally threw a fastball completely behind him it’s pretty obvious he was trying to hit him
I absolutely think so. His overall numbers aren’t hall of fame quality but his peak from around 2006-2011 I think is about as good as any second baseman ever.
Awesome video. Great nightmare fuel for Mets fans. #26 should be retired. You have a great RU-vid Channel. Keep giving us great Phillies content while we have our extended wait for Opening Day.
Why do Philly fans love him so much when he wasn't THAT productive or even the best player on the team? Throughout his career in Philly either Rollins, Howard or Hamels were better depending on the season.
Geez....chase pissed on the Mets for over a decade with the Phil's and they hate him more for that play than ever before. Granted it's the post season but still....
I can’t be the only one hoping Tejada wouldn’t try to turn 2 and just take the sure out at 2 and jump out the way. Poor Mets fan though, Utley owns them lmaoo
The reason muts fans hate players like Utley when Utley was playing-especially with the Phillies, is because they knew they didn’t have any players with Utley’s heart or smarts. They knew they had a cast of losers who would melt under the September sun.
That slide against the Mets in the playoffs was a clean (at the time) hard slide to break up a DP. These baby Met fans can't handle hard, tough baseball. That's how you win and that's why the Mets never do anything. Go Phils!
I used to respect Utley before that when he was in Philly, but that was just a dirty slide. Only Hal McRae on Willie Randolph was worse. You only do a take out when the second baseman is clueless and in the basepath to teach him a lesson. But what chase did was bushleague, cheap baseball. He's lucky he was at the end of his career otherwise there would have been major payback when he tried to turn a DP
How so, the slide was deemed legal after the fact and it successfully prevented a double play. If anything it was tactically a very good play. Lol not this dudes fault the second baseman’s ankle is made of glass, he didn’t even hit him that hard.
What clueless moron deemed that slide legal? Joe West or Angel Hernandez? Lol. If you played the game at all, you know it was a dirty slide. He went after the fielder instead of going to the bag. That's a no no. Throw out what the rule book says.
@@greatestnitemare6626 Joe Torre is a neanderthal. He played when that kinda slide was legal. Bottom line is that Utley is a dirty player. If you tried that slide on me you would be missing a few teeth after I threw the ball as hard as I could at your kisser
