I don't think you should hope to see one in person. I have been through many since I live in Oklahoma. It's never good to encounter one of those- an Ef-5 hit my neighborhood and my house, I was looking through the security cameras in the storm shelter and it was not pleasant

Hey Tom....thanks for the reply. FYI...I was a 30 year Air Traffic Controller at Atlanta, and had to study weather a LOT! If I did not become a controller, I probably would be doing what you are doing. I have a lot of respect for you who chase. Especially the calm, cool, collective ones..and that you are. My wife and I have been out west dozens of times, but never chased. Did more hiking and biking. But it is on my bucket list.
